Sir, is there any clear proof that AIM-9L got nerfed?
It needs buff, but not fantasy buff.

It should out rate the F-5E when loaded up with about 100% internal fuel just about
And climb to 24,000 feet in about 1 minute while maintaining a constant speed.
Among other things
It should be able to cobra
And all the engines have the wrong over heat temp.
Currently they overheat at the temperatures that can be sustained for 200 service life hours.
Well, there is clear proof they should be waaaay harder to flare than they currently are (if on reheat, flares, even large flares should do nothing) and they use to be way better in 2022 and then got nerfed quite hard (I miss the Gr7 when it was first added)

Well, we both know AIM-9L acted like AIM-9M, in their golden era.
But
I think there aren’t significant direct nerfs about AIM-9L in datamine ‘recently’ AFAIK. (Well, there are possiblity of I missed the nerf since I don’t fully check on every datamine.)
So, I don’t agree with OP’s claim about ‘They nerfed AIM-9L’ except he was on coldsleep.
Which tbh, is probably actually historically accurate 🤣
They did do something to missiles couple months ago, but did change most if not all iirc.
