I dont know whats worse. The fact that is still an issue in WT, or that im not surprised the FA2 is affected by it. In any case, BOL barely works well enough to be worth equipping half the time

fox 3s are uncounterable a lot but I’ve been saved by spamming a billion flares and chaff a lot today as I’ve been stock grinding it
I quite like it, Its lower BR is nice and I love the FA2. But I cant stand its nerfed state

Just makes it unfun. Cant wait for it to be at least partially finished ot take into sim, where it and the AV-8B+ can AMRAAM in 12.0-13.0 matches

The GR-7/8B+ flight models are great

I dont really mind it, Yeah the Harrier II airframe is a lot better (and I miss the Sea Harrier Mk3 we briefly had on the dev server) but overall im fine with the Gen 1 frame. Especially with the better engine.
shouldnt be neccessary, i think id still do it just because I’m carrying 190 of both flares and chaff in the thing and wont use them all unless I was excessive in my use of them

Yeah it would, Though would be Large calibre flares and standard calibre chaff. But yeah, that would make the FA2 competitive
i will say having AMRAAM and playing like a sneaky bastard makes it very fun because you know you are at a massive disadvantage but you’re still killing su27s like they are nothing by catching them off guard
That is, because they are nothing with their current FM, you’ll win an energy fight against the Su-27
Their FMs are horribly implemented
Oh yeah, you have to play smart, but when you do its fun. Just wish it had its proper RWR and that the HUd was usable in Sim. But I totally destroyed some Su-27s the first day in it, mostly stock in Sim. Just dragged them super slow (like I had flaps down and viff to stay aloft) and just watched them crash into the ground :P

most the su27s ive killed have been from catching them flying too high or jumping them out of nowhere with terrain but ive won several dogfights with mig29s su27s and F16s just by thrust vectoring and bleeding them dry of any chance of getting a shot on me or getting away without crashing or eating a missile. hypermobility
the harrier being so damn slow becomes one of its strongest points as soon as someone tries to merge into a turnfight
Yeah it really is. Its how the Sea Harrier FRS1 kicked the living hell out of some F-15As in some 2v2 combat before the Falklands (read: “Sea Harrier over the Falklands” by Sharkey Ward for that story)

the F15 just cant handle aerobatics at such a slow speed its an unfair matchup.
british pilots are also just on a whole different level to most anyways they are truly insane flyers
