most the su27s ive killed have been from catching them flying too high or jumping them out of nowhere with terrain but ive won several dogfights with mig29s su27s and F16s just by thrust vectoring and bleeding them dry of any chance of getting a shot on me or getting away without crashing or eating a missile. hypermobility
the harrier being so damn slow becomes one of its strongest points as soon as someone tries to merge into a turnfight
Yeah it really is. Its how the Sea Harrier FRS1 kicked the living hell out of some F-15As in some 2v2 combat before the Falklands (read: “Sea Harrier over the Falklands” by Sharkey Ward for that story)

the F15 just cant handle aerobatics at such a slow speed its an unfair matchup.
british pilots are also just on a whole different level to most anyways they are truly insane flyers
