As it currently stands, the Sea Harrier FRS1/FRS1e are currently missing their EEGS and as a direct result of this, currently do not have any form of gunsight within the cockpit. A cockpit HUD overhaul was started 6-9 months ago, however since then it has been left in an entirely half finished state with multiple incomplete and/or buggy interactions (for example, CCRP does not work at all)
But the most pressing of all these issues is the total lack of any gunsight and this a major issue for both the BR and the aircraft in question as 30mm ADENs are not the easiest to aim at the best of times.
It was previously stated that the gunsight was dependent on the FRS1s recieving EEGS, however this still has not occured. What is perticularly annoying about this is that the Sea Harrier FA2 has a fully modeled EEGS and gunsight all ready and so there should be very little work required for its implementation.
There are many issues regarding the Sea Harrier and Harriers in general, but imo, this is the most critical of them all as it renders these 2 airframes borderline unplayable within Air Sim and is a major feature of their A2A combat performance being currently withheld.
