I would like to suggest the Sd.Kfz.250/11 again, which was allready passed for considderation on the old forum, to bring it again into the light of the devs and show the community here what they can wait for.

(Also NOTE: I am suggesting the improved version with the wider gunshield to protect the full crew behind it and not just the normal field gunshield.)

Generally it is the Sd.Kfz.250 Ausf. A(Armored version similar to the Sd.Kfz.251, but on the Sd.Kfz.10 basis) armed with the 2,8/2,0 cm S.Pz.B. 41 which is allready found in game on the Sd.Kfz.221.

However this vehicles would offer a different (arguably better) alternative to the current Sd.Kfz.221 basis allready found in game, as the 250 is a better gun platform that, with exception to speed, is generally better than the 221.
It would also add another form of the little brother of the legendary Sd.Kfz.251, with an eaqually powerfull and small armarment.

History:
The AHA IN6 (Inspectorate of Motorized Troops) requested a small armored Half track to accompany tanks on the offensive and perform auxiliary mission in 1939. These tasks were (not limited to) Scouting, mobile HQ, command vehicle, radio vehicle, forward observer and ammo carrier. And be smaller compared to the then also in development Sd.Kfz.251, its bigger brother.
It was an development of the Sd.Kfz.10, which was made by Demag, who was allready recognized for their expertise in very small and fast half tracks, which was recently accepted into service. Of these Sd.Kfz.10 were around 12.000 produced until 1945 and additional 6.628 of the armored version Sd.Kfz.250. The armored body was designed and produced by Büssig-NAG abd called Leichter gepanzerter Mannschafts Transportwagen (light armored troop transporter) with the number Sd.Kfz.250. Build from 1939-1944.

Later in the war, a new armored hull was introduced, the Ausf. B, this was a simplefied and improved version that streamlined the armor platings to simplefy and speed up production as well as make it slightly lighter (about 200-300kg) and reduce the target area from the front, as the sides were now straight plates with the addition of 2x 8mm Armored boxes as also allready seen on the Sd.Kfz.251. These 2 versions were then known as Ausf. A and B.

The gun, the 2,8/2,0 cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41 was one of the 3 produced guns of the gelrich principal, with a tapered bore and fireing 2,8/2,0 cm APCR and HE rounds with very great velocity and penetration while overall beeing for its power quite small.

In game it would offer an improved gameplay to the Sd.Kfz.221, as with its slightly bigger size and half track configuration it will offer a more protected (angled 14,5mm armor instead of 8mm) and more stable fiering platform with more crew instead of 2, resulting in a much greater survivability, while only slightly slower (Trials showed max speed of 75km/h) And a greater fireing arc, as the gun isnt blocked by the turret shield.

The Gun:
2,8/2,0 cm S.Pz.B. 41 and AA Mg 42
3 sec reload, 35°/sec traverse speed. -10° to + 20° elevation and +/-35° Horizontal travel (or more its free turning without a stop, only limited to how much movement the gunner has) 168 rounds stored as well as Mg 42 for air and ground defence.

I’d much prefer this to the 221. More stable, better protected, and more crew. +1

And you can aim to the right more than like 3° because the shield isnt in the way.
