After I launch the game, the screen will randomly black out. It will occur in the hangars, and is noticeable if I switch from one nation to another. Going into the settings screen results in a 2-3 second black screen after every option choice. In battle, switching views usually brings up the dark screen (audio still running) , but will sometimes occur in 3rd person view.
There is no specific timing between blackouts.
Running a Ryzen VII , newest drivers, 16Gb Vram, 32 Gb motherboard ram.
Game was working fine yesterday.
Same here, it happens more in the battles when loading content like advancing in the map.
With an older system and way older drivers, I thought it was because of that but I see it can be something more general.

Thankfully someone replied on FB as well. The update moved him into a different window mode, all he had to do was reset back to Windowed-Fullscreen. I messed around with mine, it’s now playable if I go to “Windowed” mode, but not the fullscreens. Going to stick with 99% coverage now until I work it completely out, but at least no more blackouts.

Unfortunately playing in windowed mode didn’t help with my blackouts. It seems in my case it should be the outdated GPU drivers.
The only thing it worked was enabling the old cards support option (ULQ). So probably one of the options is now causing the blackouts and driver crashes with new graphics update. Any input there would be welcome I will try to find wich one is …if there is one.
Other option would be updating drivers but they are working fine for me in all other games I use and also I am updating soon for a new PC so…
