(SCARY NAVAL WARNING) needing help with mortars on the PTF-7 (1.7)

I can’t fire this thing even while I binded “Mortar” to the R key, hell the guy doesn’t even turn the thing or react to my cursor, can someone tell if it has like a distance deadzone or what rounds does it even fire since I don’t even know that

You have to reseach the tier4 Modification, and equip the 81mm Mk. II Mortar.

But u lose the 12,7mm M2 that is atttached to it.

I know I have it the mod, it’s just the thing doesn’t even react

You must select the mortar as additional weapon in the mod menu.
And in-game you can select with the 3rd weapon type (switch to anti-air weapons).
