As you can see in the video, Hammers travel for around 30 km, then just before hitting the target they start traveling in the opposite direction for some reason, even though they have plenty of energy to reach the target. Why is that? I thought that maybe this is related to 30 km TGP limit, but I’ve heard that people succesfully hit targets 70 km away with JDAM’s and JSOW’s
It is not an issue of Hammer but the targeting pod
You can see 30km all the way you were launching missiles. Because target pod range is locked to 30km and it set guide point “in air” in range of 30km and not on the ground you are aiming
This issue will work with any GNSS weapon you would use via target pod on distance more than 30km
To launch it on range more than 30km you should use map point setting
Because they use poi on map which bypasses that limit.

Tried that, but they can’t hit either because they overshoot, then turn around and miss. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
