Saitek x45

I have a Saitek x45 HOTAS, and recently war thunder has only been pickining up half of the range of the throttle. In the windows USB controllers config, the throttle shows full range of motion, but in war thunder, it only shows the top half. Any suggestions?

Here are some suggestions:

-Make sure the throttle on your joystick is zero’d out-it’s possible War Thunder is allowing that to interfere. Better yet, unplug the stick while working on the throttle problem.

-Plug your throttle into a different USB socket. Try all the sockets you’ve got & test.

-Try someone else’s throttle if you can borrow one or drag your box to a friend’s house who has a throttle.

-Sometimes, multiple peripherals like a throttle & joystick plugged into the computer can cause a USB voltage drop which can, in turn, cause a device to work improperly. It’s common practice to use a powered USB hub to maintain proper voltage for multiple USB devices (about $30 new or maybe $5 bucks at a used computer parts shop). I use one myself for my joystick, throttle, rudder pedals, headset, tracking camera. Maybe you can borrow one as a tester.

-Go to throttle in your War Thunder controls setting and check the adjustment sliders like “dead zone” and “multiplier” to make sure they aren’t the problem.

-You didn’t name your box so, I’ll just say that, the War Thunder Mac app caused me constant headaches with throttle and other “slider” type devices. Before I switched to PC, I installed Windows on my Mac and war thunder worked perfectly.

Good luck!
