Facts. The barrel is just bait.
There are enough Israeli vehicles to fully flesh out the tree. Hopefully they will.
We can dream of more Magachs… Let us dream together…
Let me rephrase… someone whos opinion very few people care about. He seems like a chill guy, but so far as his content… spam is an understatement, as is his take on some vehicles being little more than personal bias spam. Everyone has their bias, but his comes out and across as “Believe what I believe” in many cases.
Thing is gonna be a monster in a downtier
Why would a FCS affect turret rotation speed? (genuine question - don’t know a great amount about the Sabra…)
The FCS includes a lot of things, however you’re correct it doesn’t DIRECTLY involve the turret traverse, just the ability to adapt to most if not all turret traverse systems.
However, this is the big part to look at:
“New electromechanical turret drive”. That’s the big thing right there, as it’s not only something the M60 variants lack, but something the Merkava Mk.3 and Mk.4 series uses IRL which yield 34.0°/s of traverse horizontally and 15.0°/s of vertical traverse.
By saying the Sabra Mk.1’s turret traverse rates are more akin to the Merkava Mk.3 rather than superior, I’m making a compromise here. I just want it to be better than the Magach 7C since it was IRL, and given we have no concrete number to go off of, this is the best we got to put in the game. The turret drive systems on the Mk.3 and M60 are also relatively the same size and would be no trouble to integrate at all, given they even used M48 turrets for testing on the earlier Merkava Mk.1 testbeds, so I find it likely the Sabra uses a similar if not identical system.
Simply put, the Sabra Mk.1 got an upgraded turret drive which I’m positively sure meant increased turret traverse speeds (it’s a modernization package after all, and 25°/s is not a usable traverse rate on a modern battlefield), yet this isn’t reflected ingame at all. I believe it should have 34.0°/s horizontal traverse and 15.0°/s vertical traverse ingame as the Merkava Mk.3 does.
Five hundred Magachs.
“decent protection”? Is that an out of season april food joke?
For what i can see in the dev server this thing Is made of aerogel and paper
Well, at least it will fit in with the rest of the Israeli lineup then. Decent protection roughly translates to “Try not to be hit while in the house on tracks…”
Playing the tree has taught me the benefits of teamwork, not because War Thunder teams work together though, simply to give the enemy another tank to shoot at so I can return fire on the reload
Must say the combination of the centurions and megachs is fantastic, i actually used my spare ge for the shot kal dalet to use along side the 6M and the 8.7 tanks.
The 9.3 merkavas, i love em but id say, dont expect the armour/ layout to save you, and youll be pleasantly surprised when it does 😁
I love my 8.7 Israeli line up. Anytime they add Israeli vehicles I consider it a win.
Yeah they’re pretty fun, the tiran 6 was a very welcome addition tbh.
Yeah. I just unlocked it. I’m looking forward to putting in some time with it.
It complements the centurions and megachs very well i must say, i use it in my 9.0 lineup which is usually downtiers now due to 9.3 being sucked.to 10.3 due to the sales.
@Stona_WT sorry for the ping, but seeing as none of the listed reports were acknowledged to any extent and the comment I left above for you went unanswered, I feel as though this ping/messaged is the best way I can go about getting these things to be adjusted.
Can we expect any of these listed things to change, or is there any way you could please forward these things please?
Particularly hoping for a turret traverse change, given its copy pasted from the Magach 7C, yet you/gaijin literally state the presence of a new turret traverse mechanism here:
Really hoping we won’t be stuck with only 24 degrees per second of horizontal turret traverse when the update drops as that would be brutal. Same with the vertical traverse rates. (If you need me to make a bug report for the his one I’ll gladly do so).
Hope you’re having a great day and that this doesn’t bother you much. Hope to see ya around and would really appreciate a response if any!
More magachs confirmed?
Bruh (no)
Until the Sabra Mk.II comes
And the Magach 7A, Magach 4, Perez, Magach Marksman, Magach 7C (Late), Sabra Mk.2, and Sabra Mk.3 (not to mention the iron fist Sabra variants).
