I think the flight model is more than good enough, but the AOA toggle is broken for all exported Gripen Cs in game as of rn (gaijin won’t fix them because minor nations)
Yeah no, the flight model prior to considering the toggle is underperforming even the least credible sources. Quite noticeably.

Will Britain’s Challenger 2s be brought up to spec to make it easy enough to spawn in said Gripen and use GMTI?

Gripen turning on a dime during an airshow, timestamped to 1:24.
I’m curious how much speed he bled to make that super sharp turn, and the G-loads…
Looks like a 180 deg turn in like 8 seconds between 1:26 and 1:34 (just visually guessing though).

Jokes aside my both Ef2000 and FGR4’s radar working much better than most people’s.
They usually pickups targets rather easily and HMD works just fine.
Just went to a thunderbird’s F-16 demo, it’s insane seeing what they do in real life, honestly it puts war thunder to shame, it makes war thunder look like they have less manouvrability! Nothing will ever compare to watching an airshow IRL

With how gaijin has modeled C-5s they wouldn’t be worth the uptier, they are honestly worse for warthunders current top tier meta
Yeah… I agree… Real shame. Though with how weak they are / how they are only a sidegrade usually, I almost wonder whether or not the Gripen C could get them and remain at 13.7 and whether or not something like the Tornado F3 Late could get them and remain at something like 13.3 (which it probably should be at anyway once its CMs are fixed)
I mean, there was never really a chance of the Gripen getting them anyway, gaijin has said multiple times that they aren’t going to touch the Gripen anymore, as shown by the missing middle pylon, we can dream though, maybe the dev team will be replaced some day
Yeah… rather a big shame the Gripen C has just been abandoned. Heck, you also have the Voice Warning system stuff (im 99% sure the Gripen C has it) they could just do the same thing theyve done for the Typhoon and C&P the US one over until such time they are able to model the proper one.

Ya’know, they are a multi billion dollar company and they can’t even hire a voice actor, kinda sad but I’m getting off topic.
There is plenty missing from the Gripen that gaijin will never add because they never chose a specific model of the Gripen C, they just made an ahistorical amalgamation of a ton of different ones, I know for a fact at least one version has MAW but I know for fact that they would never add it, they are going to stick to their weird fake plane until the bitter end, again, all we can really do it hope they have a new dev team come in and save us XD
