Yeah, true. But hopefully Britain will get it for our TT. Not a lot of self-contained SPAA for our tree at top tier left

İt will be really nice addition.
İm about to finish researching my T-90M, after that i will start to grind Chally2’s and Stormer HVM, hopefully Gaijin will expand British Spaa Line with those systems in the future.
Yeah, fingers crossed, though still waiting on the Tracked Rapier. So could be a while

İf it was up to me i would’ve add those systems tomorrow alongside with EFT and Ajax.
But knowing Gaijin it might take quite a while tbh.
American need a plane that equal or better before we can get the EFT

They can get upgraded F-15 or F-16 in order to compete with EFT.
F-18 will also be nice.
But if they add EFT and Rafale at the same time i think i will go for the Rafale first.

And what WOULD they need. The euro delta don’t really have counterparts in the US. we will see either missile buses like the f15 or light f16 airframes, sprinkled with a bit of f(a)18 for the US, compared to the euro delta for other countries, however already 2 of those US planes are already in game. We will see newer variants of them, but I don’t think the arrival of the EF of rafale would require a new US airframe, although the f18 and f/a18 are definitely something I want to see
F-16 will only get heavier from this point.
Previous versions cannot match with EFT in radar, survivability,armament and ECM section.
Block-70 would be the best bet i believe.
Its just based upon Gripen.
US got the F-16C, a 12.3 before Sweden (and technically britain) had anything higher than 11.3 and then it took 2 major updates / 3 months for them to add the Gripen.
Current assumption is that US will get an equal 3-6 months before Typhoon/Rafale

F-22 will be the endgame for Us just like how Su-57 will be for Russia.
İ believe EFT,Rafale and Gripen will cause hard time for other nations until Gaijin adds 5th Gen fighters.

I’d argue that US does not have equivalent to the EF and Rafale. Either they’ll have worse airframes with better avionics, such as the f16, f/a18, f15, or they’ll have far superior airframes with overall better avionics (f22, f35, which invisibly won’t be the case). Or more probably they’ll have similar avionics with worse airframes
Worse that could happen would be US having better radars/missiles, but in the case of France for example I don’t think it’s going to be much of an issue since the MICA is coming next update. I don’t have any thoughts on Germany tho. Could they some eastern su27 or something ? Idk what they fielded before they reunified
Well… IRL probably, this is gaijin we’re talking about, they’ll find a way to make them worse than they should be and claim “game limitation”

We’ll probably see earlier variants of both aircraft. I do t think we’ll se a magic 2 only rafale tho, probably just MICA EM and magic 2s. It would thus come with a pretty large part of its avionic and EW suite, so I am not to afraid on that part. Obviously they probably won’t bother modeling half of its stuff, similarly to the Mirage 2000s still lacking their MAWs, but I think the raw flight performances of the plane would compensate against an f16 block 70, an f15E, and similarly placed US planes. Then we might see later variants with the MICA IR even later imo at worst.
I don’t really know through which phases the EF went so I won’t comment on that.
Either way, once again, I come to the gripen thread and completely derail it, so I’ll stop on that note

I’ll go for the EFT probably out of pure preference but I will also have the Rafale and Gripen E and after the initial grindfest i’ll play whichever i find to be better.

same here, one of these days i’ll get around to grinding the French air tree for the Rafale. Luckily dont need to grind the swedish tree for the Gripen anymore
Yeah that’s true although the E will be an all-round improvement so I would like to collect that one too.
Perhaps I should finish grinding China to get the J-10 too.
