upon comparing the ingame sensors on gripen-e to the ones placed on the sufa, they don’t really look alike

There’s a couple articles with Elbit PAWS-2 being selected as well for the Gripen. I wonder if it’s possible there’s some avionics difference from the Swede vs Brazil Gripens then.

I think the MAWS sensors are different between the Swedish and Brazilian Gripens, iirc Brazil had two sensors per quadrant while Sweden only one. And then there is the difference in the EW suite as well. The Brazilian planes have significantly smaller “canoes” for the wing pylons. Like an in-between of 39C and the Swedish 39E. There was discussions about both of these earlier in the thread I think.
What the exact differences are and how they compare none of us will have any idea of I think.

Kinda on hopium but do wish we could get the RBS15s or the KEPD 350
It was substandard. You could not engage midfield as reliably as the rest of blue, and you could not engage long range air defences as effectively as pact. It existed, and that’s about as much as you got out of it.

Very generic? AMRAAMs on the Gripen platform is so lackluster. It’s not even bad it just felt like flying a filler jet? I only played a few matches with it before switching back to F/A-18C MLU 2 and blowing S300s the hell up with JSOWs from 100+km.
