I don’t think the E has been seen with belly mounted bombs, the NG has but as far as i’m aware not the E.
has been reported, nothing done so far
Just shown, not mounted. So could just be that they placed them there so that they are not in the way for people walking.

I just noticed something interesting. No clue what it means yet but the Brazilian JAS39E has two MAW sensors instead of just one in front of the canards:

Speculation but maybe a Laser Warning System…? Similar concept to Praetorian DASS or Thales SPECTRA?
Unless Brazil added two MWS sensors for redundancy.

as J3SUS_Chr1st’s skyward capabilities report sadly not available anymore, we can either re-report it or hope someone has it saved or it’s being implemented. I won’t probably yet make one as the current dev server seems to be especially spaghettiy

in relation to the M2K, which is a 1980’s aircraft, the fact the system is worse in terms of false alarms and countermeasure capabilities is laughible. the upper hand gripen-e holds there is the fact the maws is fully spherical (whilst the RWR incorrectly remains non-spherical)
Can’t slave cms to maws accurately. Goes off at the same rubbish that sets off F111 maws.
Certainly one way to tell us to go screw ourselves for wanting a competent platform.

Yo, got a question, regarding the model of the gripen-e:
what’s this nub (where the ingame mouse pointer is hovering), as it’s definitely not present on Gripen-C/A nor D. I’ve been trying to spot where all its antenæ are for the irl spherical coverage of the jet.
Might be something for navigation or communication, they show the RWR further back in the animations:
