could you maybe link to that issue? might be helpful to have it linked in here

Oh yeah, mb

Nevermind, they called it a duplicate

Aside from the fact that you just said bunch of nonsense, sir, i have never argued that it is a late variant. I just asked where your source says that it is an early variant other and instead of answering me, you answered the question with the same question :)

To me, gaijin brought up a completely broken plane, good people here have been busting their backs to get it fixed, maybe half fixed now. And just because it has been a horrible modeling, people here started saying “f it, this has to be an early variant”.

If i remember it right, when the gripen E first came to the dev server, it was literally a copy paste from the C version and they developed it over it. Hell, it didnt even have the triple phylons on the belly which is crazy as even a simple google search would have given the dev team a reliable source to model those at the very least.

Not from what i could tell, all the 3D model differences (except the extended elevons) where there directly from the start, and there are a lot of changes to the 3D model.

Here is a post where i pointed out the IRL differences i could find at first glance (with images):

That could very much have been copy pasted as most of the Cs loadout would still be the same on E, adding the center pylons to copy pasted C loadout options is easier than making new loadouts from scratch that would look basically the same in the end anyway. same with a lot of other things that are practically identical to the C. But i don’t think the visual 3D model was copy pasted.

Would be very nice :p

sad

after reading the community update and got nothing about the gripen im just losing hope about seeing just a simple fix one day

My memory could be tricking me. Maybe the whole model was not copy pasted but much of the parts were. I mean it still to this day the loadout logo of the belly phylon of aim120-c is copied from other aircrafts instead of creating a new one which would be the simplest change you could make. I know it does not affect the performance or anything but it just shows us how they are not willing to make a simplest change let alone any meaningful ones.

I have 7 nations at top tier in air, aced 5 top tier jets and experted maybe 20 of them, about 2k hours under my belt and with confidence, i can say that Gripen E is Gaijin’s sloppiest work yet.

I don’t even think it’s “much” in that sense. The only things i can think of on the top of my head are the pylons (and many of the ordinances), the outside of the cockpit to some degree, parts of the tail , the elevons and the exhaust. The rest of the parts all have differences compared to the C. Some of them might have used the C as a base that were then modified but they were all modified/new parts when it came to the dev server.

The loadouts as i mentioned are very likely just copy pasted then adjusted after the fact.

Well, if you actually look at the reports that were sent in (there is a list in the second post in this thread) and what things they did change, i would personally also say that to few of the reports were fixed during and shortly after the dev server but there were fixes.

Yet it still lacks additional flares that is modeled on pylons and K Band for RWR coverage which are really easy to fix.

I can understand that any change to flight model or size may take some time but those are shouldn’t be hard to implement.

Not gonna even talk about VWS and new HMD interface.

I don’t think bugs are sorted in priority based on how easy they are to fix. They are more likely sorted by a combination of how much they effect the game and how many players are effected by the bug. But i’m not sure exactly how they prioritize them.

I mean K band coverage is essential in GRB so it should be fix as soon as possible.

essential? i have played a bit of grb with the JAS39E and haven’t had any issues (so far) with not getting rwr ping from radars, is there something specific you are thinking of that uses k-band?

Pantsir launch, in future patriot arh missiles.

Pantsir S1

CS5/SA

Now sure its not big of a deal but able to identify when you get targeted by those SPAA’s is can be life savor in certain situations.

Ah, i did not know those used k band, thx for info :)

I just always assume that i’m being fired upon if they can see me. Especially since there are SPAA with TWS guidance.
