Naval is dead no more devs working on it lol
its some interns’ and one senior’s pet project ig
if naval is dead, then what is sim?
Bones
We have found some bug reports as ACCEPTED waiting for years.
Ive been gone for a while any notable news?
No
Well they denied dual missile rack and accepted the fuel dump i think that was it
Anyone who’s looking for a good JAS39E skin, its finally here.
Updated the Belly SDB (GBU-39) issue:
i’ve found an irl image where station 5 has one rack attached.
PS: do we have an issue logged detailing the missing 12 flares? and also the incorrect modelling of the belly mounted missiles (shouldn’t have a rail, instead be clamped to the pylon)
PPS: created an issue about missing GBU-16’s on the belly (Community Bug Reporting System)
Do you happen to know what this thing is that’s mounted on the wingtip of my Gripen A?

Could be part of the RWR
Hmm, might possibly be rejected but not sure. The image looks to be of the “Aggressor Gripen” , sort of a redfor version of the standard C plane but with some upgrades. You can see the lack of MAWS and the E version upgraded wingtip pylons.
Afaik, it’s an image for gripen-ng,
Yeah it is a Gripen NG which means its a tech demo so it may be acceptable, you can tell by the camonits the NG/tech demo
Ah, yes, i mixed them up. That is the Gripen Demo. So technically a modified D version and not the E we have in game.
Regarding the twin pylons on the E-Gripen, the photo showing the twin pylons was of a naval Gripen. If you’re proposing a naval Gripen, does that mean that an E-Gripen with twin pylons will be added? France also deploys the Rafale in its navy, so I think that’s quite possible.
Should still be a valid source though
Twin pylons was denied and currently to my knowledge dont exist yet outside of promotional images of the Gripen Maritime
Ah, I thought that the idea of twin pylons on the E Gripen, which is not a naval aircraft, was rejected because there was no clear basis for it, but it turns out that the existence of twin pylons in the first place was unknown.
