I hope they turbo fix all the Gripen E’s problems and get it ready to compete against 5th gens because the plane is fun af, and the aircraft itself is capable of it. The problem is that right now it can’t because of missing modeling and bugs, typical Gaijin

They need to fix its Fm first before making any changes on other sections.
Right now it performs way worse than JAS39A/C model in game while it should be same if not better.

It would only come if Gaijin gives anyone else the Gripen, Gripen A bugs? Ignored all focus went to the ZA Gripen over the swedish one. Did Gripen A get It’s MFD? No, did the Gripen C for the UK get theirs? Yes. It’s just kinda how it goes
Look at when AGM65G went to the Gripens did Sweden get it first no. We got it two weeks after ZA because Britain was more important
I’ve even had to argue with forum mods who spread the idea that Sweden got AGM65G first and joked about swedish bias lmao.

Well it’s what gripen is known for, very quick integration and validation because critical systems are kept separate and don’t need re-validation after integration.

What exactly is wrong with the FM? I’d love for it to be better of course but what is it lacking in performance compared to real life or where it should be? I’m genuinely unfamiliar
Gripen E received a nerf to the overall empty weight of the aircraft a while back so its heavier and more sluggish at lower speeds, although when that nerf happened it received a slight buff to its engine performance.
We’re hoping the production version comes by or fixed as they feature newer wings compared to the pre production versions of the 39E. Might improve a little bit, or not by much but I’d take any improvement any day really.
Idk I’d say gaijin legitimately had no idea there was a difference.
I’d also go as far as to say they had no idea about the MS for the Gripens given how poorly they are set up.

1st of all he asked for about the Gripen A/C FM
2nd off all the wings on the gripen E already have different lift curves compared to the Gripen C
so the FM wouldnt change when gaijin changes the flaps on the gripen e

I mean considering we have Frankenstein variants of aircraft overall they mix mushed a lot of stuff. Think Gaijin said they didn’t have any intentions on specification on a MS specific variant too.
They do not care for specific differences. Whilst that is tedious, it is also how we got our hands on munitions that are compatible but not found on any of the specific designations.
Tbf that info come from me asking Smin, I believe until then the devs had no idea and decided to reply that way as it took Smin a bit to respond after being asked. The devs were likely questioning what I was talking about before using that excuse.
Quick reading/glancing moment I had oopsies.
I mean in my opinion the Gripen in game just feels like a very tweaked and modified F-16 FM throughout the years from its introduction and including the changes throughout the years till now. That’s just what I think though, and feels like they should just rework the entire thing.
As for the wing I was talking about the differences with the older wing and newer wing but no clue how much that would change if it got the new trailing edge surfaces.
As said, it’s probably gaijin partially on the Frankenstein variants regardless of MS designation.
It should be reworked as it has drifted from even unfavourable documentation. A review of sources and open reports should be conducted for the airframe to address longstanding faults.

Not wingspan wise, sure, but surface would be slightly increase though so I mean, could provide some small improvement of lift, or controllability at certain speed regimes?
On the topic of wings, I wonder if the leading edge flaps are even accounted for in turns as that hasn’t been fixed in a while, deployment wise within game vs whats shown IRL.
