SAAB JAS 39E/F Gripen - General discussion

Yeah and since belly rack is modelled as a single pylon you can only really bring 3 AIM-120 or 3 GBU’s. Cant even mix the loadouts there

Are there reports for these inaccuracies? The dodgy modeling and shoddy loadout options.

dose anyone know if there is a repport for the maws not deploying chaff?

Still irks me that the Gripen’s leading edge flaps don’t deploy properly and hasn’t been fix yet in WT. Should be a lot more aggressive and more angle to deploy,

Obviously, you’re simply biased and want the gripen to have more wiggly bits.

(Though this really ought to be fixed)

This is about something else, what about putting spice 250 under the belly of the plane and lighting III and using them at the same time?

I thought the thing squatted too much.

It was for the C yesterday, I make a post in the game problems section and it seems fixed when I got on last night.

Additional photo of the underbelly pylons:

Forgot to mention and ask; in recent use the RB-74(M)’s are missing the smokeless motors last few times I’ve used them, don’t know it that’s intentional or a bug.

I dont think they do. Smokeless motor was never smokeless but reduced smoke and thats correct in game for all AIM-9M based missiles. AIM-9L in comparison is super smoky almost like an AMRAAM

Alright, I’d have to take a look in game then.

Would be nice if they could just make it how the J-10A/C slats work in game. They deploy pretty aggressively too.

Glad they got 1 thing right about the J10.

Now all they need to do is model the intake stalls known to occur whilst maneuvering for it.
