You could ignore everything but mission performance which has nothing to do with service date and the F-35 still wins by a landslide.
One guy vs all the other people that said the F-35 was the clear winner in that competition. That guy is also a former Gripen pilot, no conflict of interest there right. All the claims are baseless and pure speculation, it all comes from some shady Swedish article iirc

Just cause he is a former pilot does not mean you can discredit him. I will absolutely trust an F-104 pilot that said he liked the plane and that it was good even though it has a horrible track record of crashing on landing cause he has first hand experience with the plane whereas we and most people talking about it don’t
Meh, I’d give some credit to some of the test pilots, we went with the F-35 since we(Denmark) already had good relations with the US prior especially since we enjoyed the F16s.
As for the Gripen it simply didn’t exist for us to trial and the EFT was limited to us only getting to tesfly it for flight performance, no radar usage. (Pilot comment was that it was inferior or equal to to F16 in technical capabilities.) US offered full use of the F-35 for our pilot, though we didn’t enjoy the Super Hornet, it wasn’t very good for our needs.

As it usually does btw did anyone else notice the pylons are wrong on the in game model for the Gripen E when using RB-15F?
Mentioned it on the discord and it seems gaijin hasn’t modeled the NATO pylons the Gripen E uses

It seems they made a distinction between non-swedish and swedish gripens. The other trees’ gripens (except for the south-african one) have the nato pylon

Then the pylons are wrong for all munitions because the E only uses the NATO pylons as far as i know.
The RBS 15F can be used on both pylons though.

Which is standard sloppy gaijin work since the Gripen E has always been shown using those pylons yet they couldn’t model it correctly.

Anyone got figures for sea skimming of rbs 15? I can’t find anything.

That seems incredibly not “ultra low sea skimming” as advertised. Curious if anyone has a figure for the correct altitude range. The internet conspires to keep me away from numbers, sadly. It seems to be a part of the problems causing it to be so abysmal in game.

RBS15 is typically less than five metres above the waves. Once it arrives at the target area,
Uses radar altimeter to scan waves and stay low while doing erratic maneuvers, only source I have rn for height is from Saabs site, really wish it was on the brochure

Aye, I understood how it was that it achieved the outcomes, it’s just finding a reportable figure seems an exercise in frustration 😿
I mean tbf that’s from Saabs own site, I don’t see why it can’t be used as a source, I’d like gaijin to find a source that says it doesn’t do that
