Can people help me find info so i can suggest this beautiful thing
Do you have a serial number for the plane?
Kinda looks like the SAAB 105T
image from SAAB-105 a book by SVEN STRIDSBERG AND EMIL LINDBERG (ISBN 0345-3413)
Hope this helps
Also iirc those are aim 9j
I was going to say a thing but I’m not qualified to do so.
As Sweden main I would like to grind for this as a separate variant tho
Also i know this isnt the chat but if anyone has any cool camos they want suggested for sweden air or the 105 specifically let me know and ill fill them out. Just gone done with the bug report for the finnish t34-85
The only place this pic appears in the whole internet is 2 threads in WT forums asking about it!! :)
@karnitin75 one is a bullpup and the other the 305, do these look like JA37 and JA35?
Sorry about the wrong channel just wanted some help with the ID
Ush 204 moment
Iirc this is the same model of SAAB 105 or its the T i dont remember fully, either way this would be probably 9.0 in air or higher.
That’s what I was thinking. Maybe 9.3, but the lack of flares would prove an issue, but then again people grind this for CAS in Ground RB, not to fight planes.
I already fly the SAAB 105G at 9.3 sooo…
Seriously though hope the book name helps also if you make a bug report for it let me know
After a lot of searching on the Swedish web I still can’t find anything, if you’re a Swedish citizen you may be able to use the FOI act they have to inquire more about this picture, sorry.
This sight helps, this is a book Zendikarhaven needed
That’s fair
You’d have to check but this says a few libraries hold the book in stock
The Draken from the first pic is of the prototype A-35XD which interestingly enough was in Swedish Airforce livery instead of a Danish Airforce one. The Draken in the second pic is the Fpl 35-10, a prototype J-35B that is used as a testbed for the RB-05, a Sk-35C was also tested with RB-05’s and the S-35E apparently was able to use Kaplan KB CM Dispenser
I just deep dived into a Swedish soldier forum, then found this, haha.
Lol you’re probably better than I am with web combing
Well, thats how i unknowingly became the person people come to if they need rare info about different things. mostly also because i have taken pictures of alot of tanks/planes in-person in the museums here in sweden,
