Russian top tier tanks need a fair buff

Dying to a fuel explosion, as in when you die, it says “fuel explosion”.

I did not even know about aced crew survivability, I always thought it had something to do with shot accuracy and detection range.

How does ace crew really work in comparison to expert crew?

Your normal skills get a flat bonus to their total level, so every skill is boosted by a certain amount.

I see, so if lets say your vitality is at max level and your crews are ace, then there is a lower chance of your crew dying post pen and internal fire?

I only battleground mode, I haven’t played it since 1-2 years. What’s the battleground mode’s meta right now?

People just care for that paywall aced reload.

I dont do battle grounds sorry, I use to do standard until the swarm update with Karrigen (my favourite starcrft character). I got the legendary card back and hit top 5k in legendary rank and have not played eversince. I loved the Warrior control decks and some of the Warlock decks. Hunter and Mage also have interesting cards but that game changes way to much and cards become usless after 6 months so I stopped playing.

TBH, HS is the US version of the Pokemon TCG
They would also strip you off for card packs

Yes and that is why I left the game, plus all the rng card draws and cards that would grant you a counter card based on rng algorithms. I would never forget the moment when I was about to hit legendary rank plying Warlock control deck only to be stopped by Priest who drew out of his cards direct counters for 4 straight turns that was so frustrating and a clear example of in game shananigans by blizzard entertainment , I eventually made it to legendary rank but now way with all these card rotations they have going. I will never go back to playing the game.

You mean universal ERA nerf when, as ERA is modeled the same through all nations lol.

It is not.

When a shell impact soviet ERA, The shell is essentially deleted. Regardless of any residual pen

When a shell impacts any other ERA, the KE protection is actually used and the shell may penetrate and do damage if the armour underneath isnt good enough.

There is actually code for this in the datamines

Soviet ERA also usually has multiple times more CE and KE protection than ERA several times thicker have for other nations. (TES/OES Side ERA for example should be around 1200-1600mm of CE protection, its barely 400mm)

Let alone ERA perforation which has thus been denied for multiple shells such as L27A1 and DM53 despite multiple primary sources.

Because Soviet and Chinese ERA have the benifit of being able to degrade kinetic projectiles… and the shell is NOT deleted.

Primary sources may claim ERA preforation but it doesn’t explicitly claim what types of ERA it can defeat, especially Russian heavy ERA. People are just assuming that it means it defeats all Russian heavy ERA and any future variants without much to back it up besides the claim that it can.

Same dlimena when people thought the round labeled “Anti-ERA” for A3 on the Abrams, meant it could defeat all Russian heavy ERA which was not the case.

And the reason I said any nerf would NOT be exclusive to Russian ERA is because the way ERA is coded, they virually all preform the same, except some has kinetic protection while others do not.

It is, there is literally code for it

L27A1 documents explicitly states it can pen the UFP of a T-80U.

Gaijin have concluded that is a marketing lie and denied it completely.

The reason why they think the primary document is wrong is because L27A1 is unable to pen their modeling of the UFP of a T-80U without ERA. So dont understand how it can be true that it can pen ERA and UFP. So their conclusion is that the L27A1 doc is wrong and not that the Armour on the T-80U is about 3-4x stronger than it should be.

The only ERA that have kinetic protection worth mentioning are the soviet MBTs. ERA on basically all other MBTs isnt even worth mentioning.

Kontakt-5 blocks are on par with a 2023 SLERA block, labeled as ERA, that’s 400mm thick. It’s batshit insane.

Yep. There is no way that NATO ERA is this weak for that much thickness or that K5/Reklit is actually that strong.

Someone did the math, the ERA on the Challenger 2 TES, is unable to stop an RPG.

That’s quite the claim granted relikt side skirts and relikt bag armor stacked together equivalets to 1200mm of protection.

I’m not sure how they came to that conclusion, granted the L27A1 penetrates the base armor of a T-80U without Kontakt-5 just fine

This is the report

One for the lighter ERA underperforming too:

That would be Gaijin for you. They denied anti-K-5 for the DM53, despite the use of I think in the end 13 primary sources stating that it could pen K5.

K-5 and Relikt have proven their worth with a very simple design and there’s sources you can very easily access to get that. People just find it unbelievable a plate or block of it’s size can degrade penetrators. But if it was something NATO came up with, nobody would dare question it.

Size doesn’t neccessarily equivalte to the performance of ERA

What 2023 SLERA block are we referencing?

Im not saying its bad, but not this good.

at least relatively speaking.

Couple with this long standing issue:

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/Zfsqtmx0m0K4

and ERA is being extremely problematic at the moment, and soviet tanks have the most ERA coverage, so even top down weapons dont work very well vs soviet MBTs currently.

Addon the fact that a direct hit to the ammo carousel in a soviet MBT doesnt always result in a kill… and fighting soviet MBTs can just be exceedingly annoying
