Lets talk about air, in helis they have the best attack helicopter wich is the Ka-50/52 also with really good missiles and for long distance they have the mi28nm wich is almost impossible to destroy with missiles nor guns and also does have extreme survability,then,talking about planes,well the Kh family is the strongest thing in the game and there is nothing compared to it since the new agm for EEUU is bugged as the mavericks, also, dont forget that russia is probably the nation that receives more vehicles each update, the nation with more AAA’s in game, and probably the nation with more stuff in the game right now, also, the most played one at top tier.
Maybe the thing is that russia does have actually great and also some OP tanks,but the player base is just bad as hell, almost the 90% of the games im playing in russia at 9.3 wich is great since u have the superiority of the T72+bmp3+t64 ends in a total lose because i gotta fight alone when the match just started against an entire team because all my other russian team mates died without doing a single kill.
Worst thing is that in one of those match a dude complained about t58 because it was almost inmortal, yeh, i just shot his lfp and he imploded like an atomic bomb, i get it is op because of the ammo and 1.5s reload, but not op because of the armour lol it is just a better m103 thats all

Idk what to say as i saw the survability of the t90 is extremely good,maybe not the better gun and not the better mobility, but for sure it does have the better survability at top tier and talking about t80 is actually really good, as a US main i dont like the abrams ngl, i dont have the Sep family yet since i just preffer to play the hstvl but i would like to reach the top tier of Russia thats why im playing it, anyway, rn everytime i play 9.3 with russia 90% of my matchs end in a lose and i end woth 6-11 kills so i assume it is my team fault since they always get 0-3 kills, really anoying ngl

I remember that in the Dev server xm800 was able to ammo rack the bmpt, that doesnt happen anymore,quite sad, rn bmpt is a monster yeh, but not as it was when it was added i remember how scared i was when i was playing with my poor kpz70 and a swarm of bmpt came to kill me i didnt have a single thing to do and the worst part is that one of the enemies typed “Gg ez, all bots” in the chat, i wonder why WT is losing players everyday, it is a mix between bad updates,bad comunication between gaijin and the community, the community itself, and the abussive premiums that gaijin is delivering every update because they want to milk the money of the poor dumb dudes that fall for the scam just for a pixel vehicle worth the same as an entire AAA game :b

That “better” survivability falls completely apart once the enemy knows how to aim.
T-series internal layout is complete garbage, all the important modules (crew, autoloader, ammo) are right next to each other so they’re easy to take out in one shot.
There aren’t even blowout panels.
T-series tanks put all their points into ufp armour (traverse for 12.7 MBTs). Everything else is terrible or mid
I’d say the hull side armor too, top tier Chinese MBTs are a better fit for that description (still better because shorter reload than the T-90M and better mobility)

I’ve not played the VT4A1 and I’ve had informed people tell me it’s just as bad as the T-90M, but aside from the VT4A1 the T-90M is the worst 12.7 tank in the game.
Just because it’s sides absorb a round once every 20 shots doesn’t magically make it’s survivability ‘‘Extremely good’’.
It quite literally has the absolute worst firepower of any 12.7 tank as well as the absolute worst mobility.
Considering that War Thunder’s meta = Mobility + First hit cripple/kill, that’s exactly what makes it such a poor vehicle. I don’t understand how it is still 12.7 whilst the significantly better M1A2 is 12.0.
You’ve never played these vehicles. This is once again the typical ‘‘Grass is always greener on the other side’’ -type of claims.
The T-80BVM is fine:

Also, i dont like the abrams because of the armour wich everyone knows is a total joke, abrams armour is that classified that gaijin really thought for years that the tank never changes its armour since 80’s, also, if and if that is not enough, try to play top tier with lag in a Xbox one lol. Even more, i have never paid a single dollar in this game,never had premium account or things like that and even like that i managed to get top tier at EEUU, 10.7 germany, 9.3 almost 9.7 for russia, 6.3 UK,7.7 italy,7.7 france, 4.7 china and 7.0 Israel, sorry if that is not enough for u i guess? I have more things to do irl than just play war thunder but atleast as u can see i like to try all the nations, i would say that russia 9.3 is actually so freaking good but the problem is that the team mates are something else 99% of the times
Edit: i checked and i had a 55% win rate today, but that was mostly because i have been playing 6.7 EEUU and 6.7 germany using the flak 8.8cm (wich is actually really fun to use at 6.7 tbh), anyway, almost all the games i played with russia ended in a total lose,i mostly had good/mid games with some of them being a failure since i was busy and decided to stupidilly rush,but that just happened in some particular games

Ngl it is kinda funny when u shoot the side of a t90,completely destroys the autoloader but not a single piece of ammo explodes, then the t90 turn back and atomize u with a single shot to the front lfp wich casually ricochet from the chassis and gets directly into the turret ring destroying u xD (that doesnt happen always,but when does happen its kinda bruh)

VT4A-1 nor T-90M’s are worst tanks at 12.7.
It absorbs side shots better than most tanks in game thanks to combination of ERA,Spall liners and armored carousel.

On T-90M Rear section of the turret actually has hidden blowout panels, if you take additional 10-12 shells all of them will be stored there and they cannot get you killed upon penetration.
Same goes for any other tank, most crew members sits in turret which makes it pretty easy to take out in one shot, at that point it doesn’t matter if you’re sitting on autoloader/carousel cause you already fked by exposing yourself to enemy fire.
