Head-on is by far the most common type of engagement, your screenshot showing the penetrable areas is false/flawed because of the reasons shown in the pic I provided.

I’m an incredibly mediocre CAS player, I lowkey suck at it, but when I tried the SM2 in GRB for the first time earlier this week it was borderline easymode.

You can literally just outrun IRIS-T by flying in a straight line, not even flaring.
And some helis are completely immune
100% agree.
I guess that low ceiling also partially a reason why playing the T-90M makes me so miserable/pissed off.
Yeah
You don’t need much skill to be able to use the vehicle, but at the same time you don’t need much skill to hit its max effectiveness or versatility.
Doesn’t help that it’s so much less versatile than any other vehicle
