Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

There is a difference tho. Something can be modeled like absolute crap and be as beneficial as possible but the vehicle can still be bad overall.

They aren’t broken. They are mid-decent MBTs with 1-2 strong points and mediocre points for everything else.

Like I said before, if you spend half as much time on getting good as you spend on whining you might not struggle as much.

lmao

Yeah see stuff like this is insane… and people like RENZO over here think thats perfectly fine to have hidden freakin plating that eats spalll in russian tanks.

wont see stuff like this on NATO mbts i can tell you that much… certainly not to the extent of russian mbts.

Oh no, once every couple of games I get Gaijined. Oh well the Russian top tier ground team got roflstomped anyway.

It’s kinda crazy how much handholding Russian MBT’s get, just to still be some of the worst in top tier…

really makes you think!

I didn’t want to waste my time replying, but here goes: first, your shot hit at a very steep angle; second, the Relikt did its job by destroying the tip of your round’s penetrator, reducing the remaining penetration power and slowing the projectile down; third, War Thunder doesn’t model the actual destruction of the projectile do you get it now? In the replay, it looks like the whole projectile is going through the tank, but in reality, only a much smaller portion of it penetrated. After all, the Relikt destroyed the penetrator tip and deflected its course; the remainder had to go through the vehicle’s road wheels, pierce the armor, and pass through the spall liner which significantly reduces shrapnel. What actually got through was a tiny fraction, and the spall liner cut down on the shrapnel. Also, the game’s replay isn’t reliable. Are some of you seriously that you don’t know how ERA works?

Your memory must be as bad as a goldfish’s, or else you’re just a hypocrite; Renzo surely remembers well when the Leopard 2A7V was an absolute destroyer that soaked up every shot to its side because there was nothing modeled there.

well thats not how the game is, or how the Leos behave currently so who cares

Ah yes, the time when going side on to the enemy was better than taking a direct frontal hit

pre nerf spall liners can burn in the deepest pits of hell

Now that they are modeling the vehicles internally, they could buff the spall liners again; also, regarding the turret baskets on the Abrams and Leopard, there should be changes to how shrapnel impacts are handled for instance, if a hit lands right in the middle, I don’t think it should completely disable the turret traverse.

Imagine how high we could have gotten the global average SEPv3 stats if we didn’t have people like ElectedElit dragging the average down. Would have been glorious.

my bad im not nolifing this game man… believe it or not, i actually go outside and have a job and family i take care of. i dont have the time or money to ACE every single abrams out so they can be just barely on par with russian MBTs while still having to fight everything else annoying russia has OTHER than their MBTs

Me too, the Abrams at top tier are just that strong and that easy to do well in at the moment.

Holy skill issue.

Even experted the Abrams, especially the 2 new ones at the moment, absolutely dumpster all the T-series.

Even a basic M1A1 Abrams at 11.7 with a simple Expert crew is already superior to any MBT in the entire Russian tech tree.

That actually good thing because in the future if stats goes even lower we can recieve additional buffs such as actual hull armor upgrade etc.

Always look at bigger picture Renzo, always :)

Standard excuse of every bad player.

I also find it funny how these Russia shills always ignore the biggest advantage Russian tanks have - silhouette/size. You literally cannot see them. Consider the fact most players plaster them in bushes too. You’re literally never getting the first shot off unless said Russia player is doing the equivalent of W+M1 Pyro(which they get away with half of the time)

Imagining a world where you can’t pen the A7V’s UFP, only the LFP and mantlet, these are still not equal. The 2A7 is much larger and by association the ‘same’ weakspot is bigger and easier to hit.

You have to be pixel-perfect to pen a T-series. They can all but point and click you.

I’ve played a top-tier Russia lineup on my friend’s account. T-80U-E1, BVM, UK, BMPT-72, T-90M + CAS I didn’t use. Playing top-tier Britain and transitioning to that was almost eye watering

crosshair placement is a thing. I get the first shot off all the time.

Just wait until you unlock your Australian M1A2, now that is powerful tank and imo much easier to play than any of the T-series.
