yea i never had an issue killing them even with 8.0 tanks
I mean, i had many, but because it was hull down and i had early APFSDS only. So idk. I dont meet the IS-7 so much so i can fairly judge about its survivability. But as soon as the hull is exposed, i never had an issue removing it neither with APFSDS nor HEATFSes?

Judging spookston video about IS-7 if you take more than 12 rounds your entire front hull section becomes ticking bomb with shell charges.
Otherwise it has really good survivability against convential munitions and even against early APFSDS rounds by the looks of it.

Well when its hull was exposed, i never spent more than two shots to destroy it. So probably the IS-7 is AS good as 279, but as prone to punish mostly less experienced players as it.
Don’t rely on luck and it’s $2000. If you have the object 279 it can easily eliminate the urge since its a better heavy tank.
I wont spend 2000$ on IS-7. 60, maybe 70 i would agree. 2000$ can buy you a car.

Don’t you guys want a more powerful T14, Obj 195? The breakdown turret of the M1 Leopard 2. How on earth can Russian players satisfy themselves with this?
IS-7 really needs those downtiers to remain a good vehicle.
Anything that isn’t conventional AP or really low caliber darts/HEAT will just go through your turret easily and get your gunner + rounds at the back of your turret.
Now it has dropped down a lot with BR changes and nerfs.

Which can also happen on NATO tank. I have shot NATO ammo rack before and nothing happened. I have been shot by other tank in a Western MBT before and literally nothing happen. Sure it goes both way I have shot a russian tank and it get off scot free.
Instead of blaming Gaijin for not being able to make the game consistent gotta blame the russian tank cause muh confirmation biased ? Why always like that /

i would not say russia is weak in top br, i migth have skill issiue cuz im new to top br but i never seem able to rly pen the russian tanks while i can pen leopards etc
