Their APFSDS round suck the ground compared to NATO ones
I don’t enjoy t-series gun handling when playing against NATO counterparts. Unlike the t-series NATO gun are unaffected by the terrain pattern and is always ready to shoot. Also reverse speed to get out of troubles.
Top T-Series gun handling is fine. Lack of depression is also fine since the vehicles are so low to the ground, and the map design. Reverse gear on the T-80s is also fine but pointless regardless since it’s a better strategy to just hold W
I play both nations. I know the quirks of both.
Doesn’t matter when the whole reason for having a better round is to pen Warsaw Pact tanks anything 560+ pen is fine
Same. Hoeever if you gave me the choice between plsying an M1A2 SEP or T-80BVM, I will choose the SEP 9 out of 10 times.
Holy moly, I come back to the game forum after a brief hiatus, and I am met with such hate speech such as this? Completely unacceptable! Gaijin Entertainment holds absolutely no double standards when implementing Russian equipment vs worldwide competitors! To insinuate such a thing is inconceivable and downright slanderous.
Please edit this post to remove this hate speech at once!
You should see KA52 crazy vibrations lol
yeah the claims of the 2A42 not having precision issues even tho its more than confirmed that it does have precision issues over its 200 RPM mode are lies, its even been purposedly reduced in the BMP3 for the same reason, it cant reliably hit squads over 1500 meters wich was the main purpose of the high firerate mode
russian ammo afther pen have a huge spalling… + no need same penetration because in game nato mbt front is more weaker than russian one… only 2a7 and strv have some armor in front other nato mbts u pen with 400mm pen in front so…
I dont know if this is satire, but if it isnt damn your lost in russian bias.
Spalling is determined with residual penetration left, so having more pen is always better.
nop depend the material what is pentraded… + the armor thickness for example the 6 mm " russian" spaa stell why no have spalling after penetration? so penetration = with spalling ?
You know that all structural armour in game under a certain thickness doesnt produce any spall, this is noting exclusive the the russians.
The last time I checked the ERA, no ERA protects at 20% its 70% value.
Soviet hull arrays are provably not over-performing as shown by countless unclassified documents, unless you’re accusing NATO of doing something malicious.
Mild steel tends not to generate spall in War Thunder in general… no clue the accuracy of this.
If Abrams turret basket should be able to “stop” spalling IRL [alleged by others], then so will other things.
I’ve never pixel hunted a Soviet tank in War Thunder.
Leopard 2A5s? Yes, back when DM33 and M829 were the best rounds, oh and APFSDS cost 1200 SL per round so using it meant losing money on misses.
And to this day Strv 122s.
But even T-90M, Soviet’s most armored tank, has decently sized weakspots… at least at closer ranges.
again need to add hull break or this is realistic irl the 5-6 mm steel afther get penetrated by apfsds no have spall?
It depends they can produce some spalling but would still be on a relatively narrow cone.

not like there’s other helis with LDIRCM that also overperforms
Definitely an issue unique only to the Mi-28
Oh man I really can’t understand why Gaijin set this safety cord to be non explosive led to die
i wouldnt say toptier russias OP but 11.3 yes
