if u look really closely to each russian tank that uses an autoloader, u will notice, really really really closely, that all of them had turret baskets even before NATO tanks had ;)

BMPT-72 is literally BMPT but worse, since u can actually one shot it with a clean shot through the driver’s port or just ammo rack it like any other russian tank.
Disabling autoloader doesnt prevent you to rotate your turret in T-Series.
prevents u from reloading, which as i heard isn’t realistic since it should be able of reloading way slower than normal, not completely.
if u want balance then idk, make it turn like 5º/sec so the enemy T-80BVM u’re facing can’t turn it’s turret at 34º/sec and impale the Svinets-2 on u.
same for trunnions, they’re actually a part of the vertical mechanism, but they their vertical controls aren’t affected when it gets destroyed. that should get fixed since it’s literally attached to it

Under what circumstances for example? maybe in optimal scenario autoloader could still load shell but in this case other autoloaders also has similiar capabilities.

Why would I? armor and gun handling are the only things that allows to T-Series hold their ground at top tier on these days.

The reverse of that statement is true in the game, at least in the case of modern tanks and cramped, CQC maps that get shoved down our throats.
Still this doesn’t address the inflated survivability of modern Russian tanks and their overperforming ERA in general.
But detailed info on NATO composite armor is still classified. How happy for you.
the only russian tank with “good survivability” is BMPT, and wdym with overperforming ERA? irl they can block like 350mm of KE, and don’t make me talk about Proryv’s frontal armor equivalent in milimeters…

If Soviets were better in-game then older equipment would never be the same BR as their newer equipment.
For example, T-64B being 10.3 while the vastly newer Challenger Mk2 is also 10.3? T-64B is superior.
Players choosing to like close quarters maps to make NATO tanks even more powerful against Soviet tanks is a decision they made to bring out the armor weaknesses of heavily armored tanks like T-90M.
T-90M prefers medium to long range engagements so its weakspots are hard to hit, but in close quarters its armor is nullified by having to go around corners exposing its weak side armor.
There is no such thing as inflated survivability of Russian tanks, and the ERA is currently not over-performing. 54mm of armor protection for Relikt is no where close to over-performing.
he’s talking about the 1 in 1M probs of getting ur M829A4 absorbed by a single Relikt, which i doubt if that actually happens that much as they like to claim.
