I think that’s because France often ends up against Germany. And Germany is the worst major nation to deal with these helis.
Eh the Leclercs and Arietes are a bit of a low bar, the other 3 dont look nearly this bad

Because the BVM turret is laughably easy to pen/disable/kill.

Not clear, its just your average “NATO MBT vs T series” argument thats completely useless since NATO is half a dozen MBTs that are completely different to each other and not even the T series behave the same.

Yup, you need a capable system for that, which pantsir is. At the same time pretty much the only system capable of intercepting munition at 0-2km from ground zero.
All I remember about bvm - is a funny bug that absolutely rips my ass apart from time to time. You shoot the breech, but instead of it, because of game’s shitty netcode, one of ERA blocks on the side eats the round. I’ve had a screenshot of this somewhere, let me search for it.

If Pantsir is really the final boss for all helicopters, then you can assume it has obnoxiously good stats against helicopters.
Those high stats would need to get watered down by something to reach current global stats, which is it’s performance against other air units.

On the 11th of November several 64Es were added to the game, allowing multiple nations to spawn great helicopters at top tier. Pair that with the fact free AAs are a thing now, which might lead to Pantsir being spawned more often at a BR where it obviously doesn’t belong, which tanks it’s stats.
But hey, I guess you couldn’t think of this and went straight down the path of “free AA users are beyond braindead at controlling one of the easiest classes in the history of gaming”.
Yes, one of the most overpowered AAs in recent years finally can get countered by something and is still maintaining great stats. It’s also worth mentioning that Pantsir sits two BR steps below top tier, so it’ll naturally see weaker enemies than 12.7 AAs, increasing it’s stats in the process.
My assumptions don’t rely on people suddenly going AFK or somehow losing their braincells the moment a helicopter spawns.

Or Pantsir started spawning at higher average BR more often ?
Or how since November, 5 out of 9 nations (not including RU) have LDIRCM helicopter at their disposal, giving Pantsir a higher chance of seeing something extremely dangerous in the air.
Obviously there are other things that can easily tank it’s stats, not just free AA players being so atrocious at their job of controlling one of the easiest vehicle classes in the game.

Little bit of column A and a little bit of column B, the same applies to all free spawn SPAA its not just the Pantsir that seemingly suffered in stats. Im just saying that the January stats might not be the best at showing how good the Pantsir actually is atm especially when the Pantsirs playrate is ludicrous compared to all other SPAA

Not saying it’s a big difference but the turret armour is certainly not cardboard liek teh other blokes making out.
Hulls on nato tanks bar the 2a7 and 122B+ are pretty poor.

the T90Ms specifically is a ripper of a shot trap, T80BVM is more forgiving in the turret ring area.

2 you can absolutely annhiliate almost any and all MBTs in game with fast firing auto cannons irregardless of nation.
2A7, STRV 122, leopard 2PL , CR2s as well have some turret armours on the sides.

Its definitely not but its also practically not really different to the turret armor on the T series.
