Russian Bias in 2026?

I am unaware of any KTRV brochure for Kh-38s printed in the last 5 years.
I could’ve unintentionally skimmed over a post here containing one, but if you or others have one I’d love to see it.

MKM’s avionics suite was upgraded in 2019, & the aircraft is being upgraded again.

Su-30MK is older, not newer.
Racimazzedine did not show proof for Su-30SM2 as proof for Su-30MKM & SM.

No one in this entire topic has ever used this argument prior to your post just now; you are the first user to use this argument, congrats.

I repeat my only goal here is to mostly lurk & take in information.
Seeing bad takes & posts portraying those takes & other peoples’ is funny tho.

Fair enough. Tho I would argue about good thing part. Depends on perspective I think. For consumer, it kinda sucks to pay 70 usd only to realize you still have to grind to have weaponry that your plane for 70 usd should have access to.

These are all very old sadly.

I think the newest ones maybe from the Zhuhai Airshow, I don’t remember exactly what year it was.

So this is the point.

You can argue that within the ‘Flanker’ Family Tree - there are lots of similarities. Airframes, engines, radars, etc. However each of the export Flankers is distinct enough to be considered by Sukhoi and their customers themselves as distinct.

The FCS used by the Su-30MKI can use Western weapons. No Su-30SM has been shown to do so. Yet - one of the usual suspects appears to argue that if he wheels out a Su-30MKI manual then the Su-30SM can now use anything the former uses.

If you want to show proof of use/compatibility - go for it - however fudging facts and trying to pass off sources for one aircraft in support of another is a brilliant way to undercut any argument for adding something.

See also my tongue-in-cheek Sea Harrier illustration further up the thread.

It’s annoying for sure, and as a consumer it does suck. But for the Balance of the game it’s probably a good thing.

because one is india FCS and other is russian FCS. 2 complete different avionics.

i never said that british man.

That’s the crux of the issue, all Kh-38 brochures being printed prior to Su-30SM & 35 being in service.
At least the ones we’ve come across.
We’re not a corporation with the ability to request and/or purchase unrestricted documents for video game development reasons, with potential NDA’s attached.

Do you confirm or deny that you used ‘as a source’ a manual for a DIFFERENT aircraft to argue for an addition?

Yes or no. Should be simple enough for you to answer.

I mean yeah, saying the 30SM can use all the MKI weapons is a bit silly since India integrated weapons systems afterwards.

But saying that the 30SM cannot use the weaponry from what was advertised with the Su-30 w/ Canards and TVC is silly, unless you’re unaware of how the 30SM was created.

Yeah, Most certainly.

i wont respond because you still doesnt understand the su30mk with tvc is what su30sm come from.

What’s the danger of answering?

Did you use the manual for a different aircraft to that which you are trying to buff or not?

Is it really when none of the later advertisements, brochures, etc. about the actual 30SM mention said weaponry?

Oh I know the Sukhoi family tree and how the Su-30SM came to be (itself a story unto itself).

I am more stating the principle that using the manual for one aircraft to try and change a different aircraft is wrong. If you allow it for one example - you open yourself up to lots of additions for which there is no evidence/proof in WT - which I don’t think is healthy for the game.

That’s my angle.

british man, would you call typhoon tranch 3 and 3A 2 comepletly different plane ?

you know its so wierd talking about it when your guys are accepting the fact to use tranch 5 typhoon to upgrade Tranch 3A typhoon.

dont even start on the dual ammram seeing in sim and was enough to put it in game.
in russia bais language:

the kh38 can be used on mig35 with source provided, so can the 12.7 mig29.

You still avoid the question. Are you using a manual for a DIFFERENT AIRCRAFT to buff another?

Sometimes, someone failing to answer a simple question is rather telling, isn’t it?

@Dzhkグ
I learned a lot about Su-30MK w/ TVC today.
A very limited translation pool of documents.

I still have yet to see official weapon sheets for Su-30SM, and I would be concerned about them being restricted.

@Crazed_Otter
Racimazzedine has not attempted to buff aircraft with manuals of different aircraft.
That’s an off-topic question & answer.

Especially considering no one has talked about buffing Russian aircraft…

everything i said today was about nerfing the su30sm2.and explaining why su30sm can get kh38 and not sm2

No, but, once you look closer at said brochures, you will notice that they too are missing weaponry.

afaik this is the only Su-30SM Brochure which actually has a list of weapons.

Notably missing R-77-1, R-27P/EP, Kh-58s…

I fully understand your point tho.

its not a different aircraft…

are you blind ?
