Preference of playstyle i guess. T90m works pretty fine for me. Just sucks that the T90ARENA doesnt get the side era. Wonder why they did that when the tank in general according to stats rly aint performing well compared to its peers. Do the arena equipped t90s rly not have the ERA? Maybe they thought they first leave it like that with russia then having 3 “good” 12.7 mbts (in their minds) while france gets 4 almost copy paste leclercs…

They do have it in real life, it just that Gaijin chose spesific version which doesnt have it.
Same deal with SEP V2 where when you take off TUSK you loose composite side skirts even tho it shouldnt.
I see…well if its rly a version thing then it is what it is. But on Sepv2 u take it off to reduce weight and bc it doesnt do a whole lot…and the side era is a lot of the weight so…
the weight on the t90 doesnt change a whole lot. the mobility is bad anyhow.

t-90m somehow doesn’t wanna comply with my playstyle, i have tried camping, then go super aggresive and either one always ending up dissapointing me. bvm in comparison like night and day difference in performance. no idea how to play the t-90m, i do try to play in a way where i would just hodl w just so i can increase the probability of enemies miss the weakspots, so far no luck yet so I’ll see where to improve.
Let me try…u gotta play more like behind frontline support for the faster t80s should they run into trouble, hold the gained ground and keep the map control until they hopefully show up in cas (or second spawn) and play very passive. Figuring out where the enemy team will possibly push after they (maybe) defeated the early rushing t80s can also bring decent results. And going to positions in between where the t80s are pushing that you otherwise wouldn’t cover has also worked for me. If youre cornered make extensive use of ESS combined with smoke (you got lots of smoke pops) luring them into pushing through the smoke into the ESS. and pray for them being a bit bad. But idk, maybe u know all of this already and t90m rly is not ur kinda playstyle sadge
ATM its probably very rough bc i can imagine lots of very good players playing US and you will mostly face these. Rushing in t90m is very ill advised, you dont have the speed, or the reload and you cant reverse sidescrape. More than one enemy tank knowing where you are and stopping you from behind a corner immediately means reset asap, or pop ess and smoke and pray for them being bad. It is very unlikely you will win vs an equally skilled abrams or leo in a cqc 1v1 in a corner brawl/staredown. In addition to that he can maneuver to deal with 2 enemies much easier than you can if you wait for too long and support or more enemies show up.
Its also quite good in sniping bc of Gen 3 commander sight and LWS and much better turret armor, yet you will struggle with the atrocious reverse to lower the profile after shooting behind the couple of shallow hills you can use. Well at least 1° better gun depression than t80s hooray xD
You can actually blocked everyone on that list you compiled lol for a normal player a lack of skill is a temporary state, the players on that list decided to make it a permanent character flaw

at this point I would rate the 11.7 mbts being better than the t-90m, only a few thousand points away from the TD that could shoot DM53, bet this one also outperforms the t-90m
Thats a hit into the Drivers optics no? I mean thats a weakspot on any russian MBT, tho more prone to rng than the other weakspots, especially at that insane angle…Ive once shot a t90m there, straight from the front, and the dart zipped through the whole tank and took out nothing but the engine…if tanks could have emotional expressions mine would have looked as stupid as it gets right before he eradicated me (while i was staring at the dmg window top right in disbelief)…i didnt even bother to wiggle or pop smoke i just accepted that todays not my day, snails observing me and played another br

hmm it looks a bit like it doesnt go through the whole ufp armor from that angle but hitting the driver optic after going through a part of the ufp? do you have a better angle of that shot?
Insanely lucky shot if thats what happened…Driver optics must have been one or two pixels from that angle at 950 m distance

Understandable. No ones gotta love every one of the thousands of vehicles that are in game. To each their own. For me its still a great tank if i wanna play a bit more chill and in control and not deal with 10s of sound queues at once smashing my poor ears in the headphones from all directions.
