Which is quite good, especiall for T90m. Yet you still perform even better in almost every other MBT? Especially Japanese ones. And better in the Clickbait than in the t90? So how are the russian tanks op then?
Quite possible yes. Due to what i meant with rushing in like a headless chicken has higher chances of success in a t80 than lots of other tanks where you need to use map awareness and sound queueing much more. That playstyle favours t80s massively. BUT you also sort of need to play it that way and if your russian team isnt playing agressively enough youre in lots of trouble very often, because defensive playstyle favours other tanks much more. In russian tanks you rely on agressively pushing early and the enemies wiffing shots and making mistakes. As soon as youre facing 2 or 3 players that know their stuff and are very unlikely to make mistakes youre in trouble. If both players in Leo/Abrams or t80 dont make mistakes the Leo/abrams is much better than a t80 or even worse a t90.
Yet should those tanks be balanced against each other by the lowest possible skill level they can be played at, rushing straight onto the caps not caring in the slightest about where enemies and your own team are? Bc especially for premium tanks at around 11.7 and higher it seems like 80% of them play that way. (Except Type 90s sometimes)
If thats the only base for balancing them then good night…which it apparently is. Hence M1a1 aim at 12.0 and Leclercs at 12.7
They also have a lower skill ceiling. I no longer enjoy playing Russia because I feel like I can do better with US tanks. I only have the premium M1A1s and I still enjoy them more than top tier USSR.
Used correctly they can be quite good yes. But far from being op. Not even with some rounds being suspicously eaten by side era, which as i said, is as annoying as when it happens on any other tank. But even with that theyre far from overperforming at least atm.
Yep. Back in the days when the asian playerbase referred to the T80BVM as “the wheelchair” it was. Those days are long gone…Imagine them getting what people are claiming to be their actual gun handling…the t80U one with 24°/s horizontal and 4.4°/s vertical. Or the Oplot’s…im not sure which is correct. well oplot has 40°s horizontal but same for vertical. They will be dead in the water. T80u is already rough to play at 11.7 imagine that at top tier…absolutely atrocious. Built to rush but cant aim doing so…
So the oplot one i see. I already like oplot much more than the BVM due to the better reload for top shell, LWS, gen 3 stabilized commander thermals and ofc reverse. If they decide to take bvms gun handling what does it have left? It even is 12.3 compared to the BVM at 12.7…Some rounds can shoot through its ufp under certain conditions?? Yeah well ppl dont aim there facing T-series and the BVM cant pen it there.
The amount of doom posting by NATO mains would be glorious if/when they announce the T-90M2, I would need loads of popcorn.
(And of course it would be a load of doom posting followed by the classic moment where everyone finds out that (unsuprisingly) it has no significant negative effect on top tier balance).
