It just has nothing going for it.
Bad pen, bad gun depression, horrible gun handling, mediocre armor, mediocre mobility and meh reload.
The only thing it had going for it was that it was better protected than the Type 10s (which isn’t a very high bar), but it’s armor was never good enough.
And to kick it while it’s down, now Gaijin added the 2RI which does the armor thing better while also being better in monst other aspects.

Another game at top tier another Russian steam roller. CAS and SAMS completely powerless, free Pantsir is still in game Gaijin thinks its fine.
Ah so its because of the SPICE250 MITL capabilities, which nobody uses anyway, it’s now more expensive to spawn.

MITL makes alot more sense for long ranges missiles (basically KH-38). You can fire them from behind cover and then try to use MITL. Gliding bombs just suffer the spawn point hit cause KH-38 is abused. You can’t let them glide upwards over a hill…
Gajin always balances whole CAS stuff with overpowered russian ordnance as template. As a result weak non russian CAS gets more and more unattractive to spawn.
I actually wonder if M829A3 clears Duplet. Considering its double stacked and the one time I shot it, I somehow nonpenned???, I don’t know.
