If I had a full top tier russian lineups, I would get astronomic winrates.

I can’t grind that much nowadays, it takes too much time, and I’m not gonna give them any more cent lol.

But if I had 3-4 russian MBTs + 2S38 + BMPT + Mi-28nms + jet + the rest of the slots with other MBTs and IFVs, I would win every single top tier game, or almost.

Now I understand why they win everytime, they never run out of tanks.

Yeah, it’s been a real game changer and with the trophy on the M1A2 it’s night and day difference with the toxic CAS. I haven’t gotten the sepv3 but it’s nice having a better winrate and good teammates that don’t leave after 1 death. If they release the new leo or something next update it’s going to change all over again. I’m hoping to see major winrate changes so this russian bias nonsense can stop already.

It is advisable not to make claims like this too quickly and early

There is some pretty compelling evidence that certain higher-ups at Gaijin show favoritism toward Russia.

Take the LMUR, for example. It received its correct top-attack flight profile on day one, while the Hellfire lacked its proper lofting behavior for years and still doesn’t perform correctly. Meanwhile, the JAGM, added in the same update, doesn’t have the proper top-attack below roughly 9 km. The Spike also lacked a proper top-attack profile until this update.

Then there’s the Mi-28NM. It was specifically coded to have a frontal DIRCM protection bubble from an emitter that DOESN’T exist, allowing it to defeat incoming IR missiles from the front. Think about that for a moment: a developer had to deliberately take the time to code that. That’s not the kind of thing that happens by accident

One of the clearest examples, however, is Trickzzter, one of the lead developers.(Same guy mass closing NATO bug reports).

On the old Russian forum, he openly stated that he personally coded the Type 10’s armor to be weak(RU people were complaining that it was too weak) because he does not believe Japan is capable of producing armor superior to Russia’s or good armor in general, so he does not believe a vehicle as light as the Type 10 could achieve a better level of protection.

That’s literally it. That’s the reason the Type 10 still has comparatively weak armor in-game today. If you want to believe that guy isn’t putting bias in the game, your choice. And there are so many other examples of Gaijin showing favoritism to Russia throughout the game history.

How is this relevant ingame again? Even if you are right.
Should we make russia’s highest br 11.0 and only have their AA’s up at higher br’s?

Asymmetrical gameplay can be balanced. For example giving multiple spawns and higher SL modifiers to RU tanks. Making the strong NATO tanks more expensive to spawn. More players in RU team. Etc.

War Thunder could always have been a game with historical asymmetrical matchmaking while staying balanced.

Gaijin even did this kind of balancing long ago during historical WW2 events. Germany couldn’t spawn the Tiger/Panther at match start. They had to gain enough SP for it like you do for CAS.

The BR system and mixed teams is just peak laziness to not have to spend time actually doing a team locked balanced experience.

I entirely missed SEPv3 launch day so idk how many people were playing US at its peak.

Skill helps a lot with that, see my previous screenshot of the 70% WR in my SEPv3. Or does the US stop counting as a NATO nation now?
