Let’s not forget that they’re basically never shown even if their radar sees them, and that third person locking doesn’t do anything.
SAMPT has 95° of radar elevation btw, and is infinitly better against james strat. I don’t see anybody complaining about that thing
If you’ve actually played non fnf aa you would know that it’s shit to lock a target more than 50° above you.
Not to mention that if you’re even more than 1° above 85°’s above them, they can’t physically aim at you, and the radar lock for S1 and SM-SV usually doesn’t work above 70°
Kindoff missing the point here, every singular SACLOS spaa can be mostly negated by flying higher than 60°, and fully negated by flying higher than 85°.
SACLOS AA’s radar become dysfunctional above 50° anyway
Whats the point of having a glide bomb with 999999 km max range if its going to take an eternity to arrive, maybe the target hidded considering it has 20 or more seconds to react, and also it makes it an ideal target for interception. While obviusly supersonic missiles are harder bc… they have supersonic speed.
16 spices will take at much 8 seconds, while 6 kh38mt will take 3 seconds. And kh38 have more chance to hit the target even with less quantity.
Hard to pop smoke or hide when you have 20 seconds or more to do so??? While kh38 sometimes you fail to intercept all and if ypu smoke the missile will hit the smoke but you will not have time to escape from the smoke bc of the splash damage and speed.
Heck no, the only possible saclos to do so its sm-sv and maybe s1. Because the rest spaas guide 1 at the time, plus when the missile gets too close the proxy will fail.
It’s easy in everything from S1 to flarakrad, altough you’re limited on the FlaRakrad.
I’ve even intercepted 6 MT’s and 1 grom fired from ~6km without issue
Go on try it. Its never a 100% effective intercept rate.
If you are spaa it appears in the radar. If you are a tank, even while playing normally you can dodge bombs by going over corners, buildings or trees. Many times I dropped bombs over recent spawned enemies and they clueless dodge them while playing in the map (yes bombs are that slow ypu can go from spawn to cap without it even reaching)
What do I care about “before” if both got equally buffed in lock time??
Its impossible you intercept 6 kh 38 and 1 bomb with a flarak that guides 1 missile at a time and has to reload each 2 shots. Maybe with a S1, but considering its in the same nation…
Plus many times proxy will fail to intercept (maybe cause it explodes too late idk). I know this bc I had to deal all that BS.
Russian Vehicles - anything will do, dodgy trade brochure, random blog post, a crayoned doodle on a napkin. That’s proof enough.
NATO Vehicle - Needs full documentary evidence up to and including signed legal statements from everyone who has ever worked on the vehicle, plus their family members, plus their pets. Oh, and also some stone tablets upon which the Almighty themself has confirmed that yes - they DID rebuild AH-64Es to Guardian spec (including LIRDCM) and no, they didn’t for some weird reason forget to rebuild just the Dutch ones…
Even then - in the weird and wonderful world of MotoRus - all of the above sources are probably lying because ‘evil Hato, grrr’.
Different countries have different needs based on various things, so you’ll need to have proof that Dutch 64E was bought with all the bells and whistles. It’s not a secret that military vehicles from the US are exported in various configurations.
That said, export 64Es will need to have proof they were procured with LDIRCM, so can you tell me if that proof is available ? If not, then it’s safe to say they got added without proper sources.
No. They are all the same AH64E Guardian standard (earlier called AH64D Block III) and that means that they are all able to use the JAGMs and the LDIRCM and they get those on technical compatibility just like any other vehicle in the game gets its loadouts.
Same version = same potential loadout which is why despite all being phantoms the F4J, F4F, F4M and F4EJ all get different loadouts since those are actually export unique versions.
Just because they’re able to use those, doesn’t mean they have them.
That’s like me saying I have a 300HP engine because my car is compatible with that, even though I’m using the version with a 150HP engine.
No one is disputing that 64E as a platform can use LDIRCM and JAGMs, but you need to prove export ones are actually procured with those options.
Yes it does, because its a compromise between down to every detail realism and balance. Same reason why T80Us get Thermals, SU30SM2s get AL-41F1S and IRBIS Es, all Eurofighters get SPICE or Arietes get DM53.
Sorry but no it doesn’t.
64E without LDIRCM and/or JAGMs is a vehicle that can be balanced too, but I guess Gaijin is fine with adding fake vehicles if that makes their lives easier and keeps the slop flowing.
That said, Gaijin will keep adding vehicles that don’t accurately depict real life versions and it’s time to accept that, not hide behind some rules thinking it’s righteous lol.
