Several nations still don’t have 14.3 worthy planes, and some were left with just 13.7s until recently, so I think gaijin would just leave the Russian tanks at a (deservedly) low BR. Either that or they unrealistically buff them/handicap nato tanks (like now) to keep parity.
For planes I’d imagine there is more parity, especially since gaijin can just make up whatever they want about stealth, and no one can stop them.
Soviet T-series tanks don’t use turret baskets IRL, the autoloader acts as the turret floor for crew.
Challenger 2s use a rotating floor instead of a basket as well.
T-80s and 90s side armor is entirely declassified. It’s impossible for them to be incorrect.
Soviet MBTs as a rule are no where close to over-powered. They are as destruction prone in-game as they are IRL, where they’re only brought up in capability in-game by the fact it’s easier to perform well in video games compared to IRL. This is also why T-series tanks explode far, far more often in-game than they do IRL as well, because that same easier to play applies to tanks shooting at T-series tanks as well.
If you want a more accurate representation of what happens IRL to these tanks, ground sim is the best place due to forced perspectives.
T-80UD got a change, and the standard BR changes are still a month away. It should be 10.7.
Your defense of Russian equipment is dubious at best, sir.
Soyuz and Bismark are the best BBs. No, this isn’t claiming they’re perfectly equal. Just both have specific weakspots that need to be hit in order to frag.
There are too many coastal vessels better than SKR-7 overheat management simulator. 38 x4 shots before overheat. Albatros is as good as the SKR-7 for its respective BR.
HMCS Terra Nova I can’t test drive sadly.
For torpedo boats: V-990, Pfeil, Pr 206, PT-810/811, PT-15.
For gun/torpedo boats: MPK Pr.11451, Koln, Chikugo.
IDK how good the Corse class is with their 24 slower torps.
If you think Su-57 will have the best stealth, I have a bridge to sell you.
I’d also like to expand on this in regard to bug reporting/fair implementation.
As it stands, bug reports/fixed bug reports are purely up to whatever gaijin/the mods think, and the rules around them make accurately reporting vehicle issues much more difficult for anyone but Russia or whatever vehicle gaijin wants to buff.
For implementations, I feel that gaijin just adds whatever they think will make their “statistics” be the “best”. See the Rafale vs EFT, where they buffed the Rafale unfairly above everything else. Then there’s also the J-10C vs Su-30SM2 implementation where one gets powerful engines it has barely used, and the other is stuck with weaker ones that it used to use.
Is it malice? I don’t know. Is it incompetence? Probably. The QnA showed how out of touch BVVD is, and I don’t think they will deliberately make themselves look bad. They also don’t seem to play their game, or atleast have an idea on what it’s like as evidenced by the BR changes and such.
Edit: Somewhere between 6.7 and 10.0 players seemingly forget how to aim for weakspots, which leads to a lot more RU bias accusations for tanks than there should be. Theres also so many internal biases against Russian vehicles in the playerbase, to the point where it’s difficult to objectively discuss things.
The problem is they dont care about actually understanding the tech. The cute “Cheek Radars” on the Su-57 are the perfect match for the analagy i referenced. Those sensors have 1/3 the density needed to get a target lock on anything much less a stealth aircraft outside of maybe sub 5km.
I fear gaijin is gonna treat them just like a full fidelity radar and let the jet lock shit from absurd angles that are not only unrealistic but outright overpowered. If it comes to that it will make gaijin look delusional.
