if you consider your self as geek addicted to forum than compare your forum stats with Renzo or Alvis… you have mere 1/10th of their activity… come on… as social media forum you should be very aware of botting
I’m noticing a trend with the forums that they tend to devolve into hellscapes when certain people get involved. Either they go off topic, devolve into insults, or both.
don’t be cherry picking ok, you literally said its like tiktok for “geeks” No miliary aviation forum? oh come on, that’s silly even by gaijin standart…
social media? yea maybe a 1-2 hours a day? a russian game forum nonstop? no i dont think so…
ok but who are you to be judging what other people do ?
dont like ? leave.
my husban beat me and give me hard time but i will come back to him. thats your stituation right now.
now people may consider the forum many things, other are here because they play the game, other are here because the wanna share / learn about plane / tanks is deep details.
so yeah if you dont like it, just leave that easy option for you unless of course your special and cant understand
I am not judging any one, iam just pointing out that few of these “well known” users have very suspicious behaviour and track record :) I said to renzo i dont expect them to admit it, just pointing out to casual readers what they are dealing with. I have no idea where you are going with that last post. You clearly missed the whole conversation and just jumped on some subjective conclusion.
USA has more than 4x the amount of OP vehicles as USSR.
F-15A just went to 12.7… another OP vehicle to the pile.
American bias does not exist; The amount of OP vehicles in the American tech tree refutes nation bias in all other tech trees on the argument of OP vehicles.
ERA? ARAT 2 on SEP2 has metal containers that can cause overlapping plate bounces.
IRCM protected helicopters firing 14+km range IR AGMs from their helipads? USA, USSR, Birtain, Japan, China, France.
Su-30? Japan, China; depending on which Su-30 you’re talking about.
BMPT? EBR 1954, Puma… not as what about, but as historical events that caused issues. People have even cited R3 T20 as an example. 3.3 to 6.0.
T-55M being the same BR as T-55AM while firing a round that pens 50% more.
Strv 122s being the most armored tanks in the game to this day. Not OP anymore, but stronger than anything Soviets have.
Gripen being OP for 1 - 3 months after release.
And while not OP, the CV90120 is a top 3 light tank in War Thunder.
I don’t agree with the following, but these are statements I’ve read:
Other people have cited Saab 105G, the lowest BR CCIP aircraft that can carry 4 1000 pound bombs.
Lowest BR all-aspect PD radar: JA37C.
Others have complained about SAV.
Because 1 or 2 or even 3 such vehicles scattered throughout the tree do not prove the entire line
I’ve never had the side of an Abrams stop or bounce anything. Never.
doesn’t matter
And ?
but what do you want to prove?
You completely misunderstood my point. I deliberately didn’t list the vehicles, because the problem with the Soviets is completely different. The problem is the game mechanics that promote the things added to the Soviets; not the vehicles themselves. The problem is that in every era, in every line, the Soviets have vehicles that aren’t “OP” but are among the best in all tech tree branches. Moreover, they usually have them close together, and in great numbers. The problem is that the added composite armor, for example, often works incorrectly—usually “accidentally” on the Soviets.
P51H5NA, F-15A, F-18A, M1A1 HC & friends [3 vehicles], M1A2, M1A1 & Leclerc being 1.0 apart despite being around or over 95% similar in combat effectiveness, 120S, Corsair being 0.3 BR below identical Corsairs in its own tech tree and other tech trees, F-80 still having infinite water injection bug, F3H and F-100D participating in 9.3’s compression, M10 Booker being given special treatment compared to VT-5… just off the top of my head.
There are as many posts complaining about F-5C’s flares as there are about 2S38, if not more.
An excellent quote disproving the idea of Russian bias.
Also what mechanics?
Soviets have good vehicles, sometimes they get an OP vehicle, sometimes they get shafted; this is not unique to Soviets. “Among the best” across all BRs is going to be wrong though.
I’ve never seen composite armor work incorrectly in a positive direction on any tank.
I’ve seen armor get modeled twice, on IS-6 and Merkava Mk4 LIC, but I’ve never seen the composite armor work incorrectly in a positive direction.
