I personally wouldn’t shit on the T-90M as much if nation mains would stop overhyping it (Just to be sure I don’t start unintended beef, this isn’t targeted at you). So many nation mains just praise the T-90M to be this god tier MBT that is better than every NATO MBT in game, which is simply not true.
I absolutely despise playing it, but I can see why people could like it.

Compare to aggressive rushing style that T-80’s has T-90M offers more relaxed gameplay which I tend to love from time to time, that’s why it’s my favorite Russian High tier Tank.

premium biases are a seperate thing tbh, thats just profit drive. It isnt also nationalistic bias like we see with most of the USSR tree

then we have spook, making quite elaborate video with code reading and then actual in game tests, and results are different. True its 3 years old, but with implementation of new internal modules it should fix the problem, but it didnt, Russian armor still spalls less, Driver - engine still happens on rng basis. russian internals are deliberately made so they eat spall but don’t create any, like fuel tanks having no plates around them, autoloader being modelled so its thickness is just under spall trigger threshold and for some reason autloader not blocking at least horizontal drive… And don’t get me started on wonky funny ERA implementation which ofc benefits mostly ONE nation.

Pantsir, 2S38, T-80BVM, but never enough to absolutely make me question whether there was clear bias, but yeah, they are currently dominant in 3/5 vehicle types (Heli, coastal and bluewater). Very very strong in the 4th (air) Its kinda insane and even in the 5th (ground), they arent far behind, though have gotten some outrageously OP stuff of late in that category

Or it’s just that you are suffering from confirmation bias. If you are actively looking for Russian bias you will look for things to confirm your believe.

All nations have HHA [lower spalling armor] vehicles.
These factors most certainly DO NOT benefit just one nation.

Ok, if you guys want one of the clearest pieces of hard evidence of pure unadulterated Russian Bias, check this out. These are my top 30 ground vehicles sorted by SL/Game, in Arcade. ALL of these vehicles are Premium Vehicles. All have the 2.0x SL bonus.
EXCEPT FOR ONE. The ONLY non premium vehicle in my top 30 SL/Game Ground Arcade vehicles is the Tech Tree BMPT. This is ABSURD. I even made more SL’s/Game than my 2S38!!!
If the TT BMPT was a premium it would be at the top of this list, beating my current best SL/Game vehicle by ~50%!!!
I stopped playing the BMPT almost as soon as I spaded it, the number would be higher if I was still playing it. AND I wasn’t even playing it smartly! I was holding W and “trying” to die to see how stupid I could play it and still win.
And you can see my rating in the TT BMPT: 1,363. This is low compared to a lot the other vehicles on my list here. I could push the SL/game, Win Rate, and K/S+K/S numbers way higher if I actually tried and played well with it. I have a ton of good/“OP” vehicles, and the TT BMPT is one of most stupid easy/OP vehicles I have ever used in War Thunder.

An identical situation that occurred with EBR, PT-76-57, and Puma at the least.
For it to be nation-bias it has to have never occurred in any other nation, and some other factors I’d need to remember.
I do not agree with you, HOWEVER, good points, good angle for a counter argument. I like facts and data, and try to stay away from emotional “arguments”. I am not perfect, but I try lol.
Counterargument: the nationalistic bias is also mainly profit driven since not having it would mean locking out the most popular tree from the most profitable BRs
2S38 was no longer biased when it moved to 10.0. BVM is biased? Huh? When Strv 122A was added 9 months before it? And it doesn’t even place close to the top 5 best top tiers?
Pantsir is the only somewhat relevant claim as it was objectively way better than all other SPAA for a while, however its radar is currently completely broken. You can also make this argument for Strv 122 and 2A7, being way better than all other tanks for more than 5 years in 122A’s case.
2s38 isnt even that strong. its only good against blind people lmao. mentioning coastal and bluewater as seperate game modes when there are fewer naval players of all modes COMBINED than ground assault players is laughable. there is no russian bias there is just a premium bias
2S38 is about to go to its correct BR as well.
