They don’t. Neither does Sweden for that matter despite getting a nice 12km F&F one.
Both are rather useless against fixed wing aircraft, just SLS is less so as it’s easier to make a mistake and temporarily show yourself within 10km than constantly show yourself within 16km at low altitude for Pantsir.
If you think CAS wins games you haven’t done the math.
MBT captures points, 3 MBT spawns is 500 - 900SP. A good match is 6 frags across 3 spawns for up to 900SP used.
CAS spawn is a forced full uptier and 960SP with IR munitions which are not guaranteed frags anymore. Even if you got a perfect 6 out of 6 that’s less effective than MBT spawns mathematically.
There’s a reason I haven’t ran CAS in random battles more than 5 times this year at the top end.

To some people there will always be Russian bias until every single Russian vehicle is 20 years older than what it faces, and 2 BRs higher than what it should be. Those same people also refuse to play Russia because they know they won’t perform good enough which nullifies their entire argument (if you can call it that).

Aside from that, lower profile and lower set gunsight also means if you don’t have hunter killer for commander you lose everytime you get pushed in hilly terrain since your gunsight is lower and they see you about a full second before you see them.
Happened to me so many times I had to go through replays to see what was going on and ya, every time that player saw me well before I could see them, you have to use commander sight and take control of the gun to negate that advantage, and obviously the commander sight needs to be a good bit higher.

Its more about level ground with some hill in the way like this. Not really hill peeking necessarily. Getting pushed in a spot like that is something I try to avoid entirely now and just bug out.

ka52 mi28nm and z10me are all immune to IRIS-T (both versions) and AIM-9X even though that is completely unrealistic and unbalanced
people who play these vehicles need that kind of help though, being the best in their class wasn’t enough so they needed a literal god mode lmao
