the brs around kv1s, t34-85, is4m, t55s, obj279 and pretty much anything above that
kv1 is only funny in downtiers, the 34-85 is mid, t54/55´s can be good and obj279 is a obj279…
(in most br´s there is sth better in other techtree´s)

I simply don’t believe there to be some ulterior motive towards russia from gaijin’s end, however I do believe that there is a deep and subconscious ‘special treatment’ they get, and that is seen in virtually every controversial russian vehicle, weapon, br change or so on.
Addressing this is impossible since the problem originates from certain members of the bug reporting staff and development & vehicle research teams
It’s much harder to nerf russian vehicles with accurate sources than it is to buff them with inaccurate ones…

i definitely agree, i just don’t see why you find it unfathomable that this bias in historical accuracy doesn’t extend to other areas of the game, especially those that are more behind-the-scenes like the damage model and the matchmaker. it’s all been a pattern for >10 years at this point

Gaijin has bent historical accuracy for many nations, so using this as a proof of bias is hilarious.

ok, but this isnt overpowered as I said, as it was never 100%, just doable on good angles, and it didnt make t-34-85 OP, it only matters if it upsets balance. That is what I am referring to
I think the hidden slope modifiers that suspiciously only applied to the Russian 85mm shells, combined with the APHE having a particularly potent effect (e.g. a big ball of doom that wipes out the interior) all conspired to make the 85mm REALLY egregious. Oh, and the drivers hatch that would eat shells and vanish them into nothing.
Not quite ‘whoops - this IS-6 turret has an extra 200mm of invisible armour on the front’ levels of OP. However, it’s left a long-lasting impression on players that Gaijin are not always as even-handed as their advocates claim…
In that time period, the R-27ER single handedly dominated any and all BVR engagements, also single handedly creating the multipathing meta of 2023-2024, i don’t want to hear it lmao

So those planes are not allowed to have a proper flight model?
This doesn’t really give the full picture… multipathing was so easy it made the meta focused on IR missiles… R27ER being the best SARH missile didn’t push it into a higher meta than any decent IR missile
