they are objectively good tanks at there brs i wouldnt consider a challenger or leclerc better
6 second reloads put them on par with pretty much every western tank except a few and they have good armor

China bias.
thats a great point actually, which got me thinking, what if gaijin add an option for us to leave the ammo door open so Leopards and Abrams can have 3 second reload at the cost of not being immune to ammo cook-offs.
Would be really cool and i think everyone would just choose the 3 second reload lol
I also wanna point out that all Russian T-series tank are still missing the auto loader realism aspect where it needs to level out the gun to 0 degrees to load the round.
Another russian bot trying to hide the russian bias by changing the subject
I see your stats, you’re laughable, the only nations you play are Russia and Germany. You don’t know how to suffer playing top tier, you are the definition of no skill. I’d have triple your performance if I mained Russia.
Russian Derangement Syndrome
I think we shouldn’t be speaking about loading realism as it wouldn’t go nicely for manually loaded tanks.
You can look up footage of nearly any modern MBT doing that, it’s done by everything since it makes it easier for autoloaders and manual loaders to do their job…
it would go catastrophically bad for some
This is a well-documented fact that is often obscured or misunderstood due to the way reload speeds are represented in tank games and even in some simulators. This is exemplified by data from military trials of the Strv 103B conducted in the United States in 1976-1977, part of which is available in this document shared by renhanxue, administrator of the tanks.mod16 website. When averaging between 400 shots taken against different types of targets from between 500 to 2,000 meters under various simulated scenarios (page 11 of the PDF), the M60A1 took 12.7 seconds to fire the first shot and the Strv 103 took 13.1 seconds. This is particularly noteworthy because the Strv 103 has an autoloader that is capable of loading the gun in around 3 seconds (with the complete loading cycle taking 4 seconds). From this, the nominal aimed rate of fire of the M60A1 and Strv 103B would be only 5 rounds per minute despite the fact that both tanks can be loaded at a significantly quicker rate. This is further reinforced by an independent Soviet evaluation of an M60A1 where it was found that the average time taken to open fire while static was 14 seconds, even though an average loading time of 7 seconds was achieved during mock loading tests.
and the t-64b went up in br TWICE
They are better though. 2E and Leclerc > BVM and CR2BN > 90M.
im pretty sure manual loader can handle loading at around ±5 degrees gun depression, they do not need to level out the gun like auto loader
Buck broken by a 0.1s reload buff
i dont think manual loader can be nerfed any more than it already is in game. 5 second aced crew is laughable.
yeah right lets have 3 seconds reload for every goddamn tank
are you being serious now?
could just give the manual loaders have the best possible reload for the first 2 shots, Then it slowly degrades over the course of the battle to the normal 6 seconds. Like for the abrams the first 2 shots are at 3~4 seconds, Then next 3 are 4.5~5.5, then Finally 6 seconds. Gives manual loaders an edge at the start but loses momentum enough where auto loaders are better then them long term.
Also have auto loaders skip the round selection and/or have them be able to pre select a round so it cuts off about half to one second off of their time to keep it semi workable.
After that, let it be decided by BR. (And if it’s broken beyond all repair, Adjust the degredation as needed.)
Yes, having constant reload speed while standing still and ramming into a building while driving 70km/h is totally realistic. Machines are taking over some work from humans as they simply do it better and loading a round into the breech is just one of those tasks.
If you want to get realistic loading mechanics, you’d get faster reload in a perfect scenario for the first 4-5 rounds and this is where your advantages would stop. I think you’d be extremely displeased if you found your tank taking 20+ seconds loading a round while having only 2 crew left.
maybe
Except neither the T-90M or the T-80BVM has a flat out 6 second reload?
T-90M is stuck at 7 seconds and the T-80BVM still has a 6.4 second reload with 3BM60.
Funnily enough, a bunch of them reload much faster than the people in this thread pretend they do. And then they bring “But muh movement” ignoring how much T-Series tanks too suffer from that and how none of that is modeled for the auto loaders. The auto loaders mostly exist to cut down on crew members rather than improve reload speed.
The entire thread has just devolved into Russia mains circle jerking and downplaying an at times massive buff to their vehicles. Btw 5 second is low. Leo 2s have a 6 second ACED reload.
Ill do you one better, give UK an ready rack :pain:
