I’m ok with Leopards and abrams getting a reload buff, we have the atrocious turret basket anyways. Just change the aced crew only since its realistically based on training and leave the stock crew as is. The autoloader carrousel is not considered horizontal drive, eats spall, and sometimes doesn’t explode cause of used shells. The turret basket is horizontal drive, creates spall, and always kills crew.

I dont understand why Gajin dont screw the realizm after all. Just make every tank have the same performance in its class. Its just not right to say on 1 tank “we have documents that shows the armor is that thin” and on the other hand they “invent” new armor values because they havent documents about it. Now the autoloader joke. either its values are documented in RL (as it is claimed years ago) or its fantasy. there shouldnt be both . Start to balance the game by fantasy values all over to have a balance finally and stop pulling a magic wand here and there

It not much skill it more like the game takes it away from you and puts it behind a paywall and other tank do not suffer from that problem at all
It would be great if it were placed at 11.3 or 11.0. Below that, it’s literally pay-to-win and gives access to a nuke in almost every match.

I’m just glad russia is a beginner nation like germany and usa, imagine if they got veteran players like sweden, france, and japan. Insane. And imma say it now, when Gaijin increases their br to 11.0, watch them get the supposed apfsds. A whole new riot will start again.

Maybe they could even update the missiles currently on the BMPT to the more modern ones it actually carries nowadays. Of course, that would be framed as ‘we changed the missiles because at BR 11.0 the protections make the old ones obsolete.
We’ll find out over time, since with anything related to the Russia or China nations in the game, you have to be careful about what you say your topic can even get taken down due to reports :)

Aaaaand another post for getting nato tanks reload buff, but forgetting that those are actually allready buffed, since there is no penalty on loading during moving.
It is just normal that leo / abrams loaders are loading rounds at full speed and in any offroading cliff dropping moment.
Sure, we could buff the loading time on stationary, but getting huge nerf on loading on moving , so no more loading during hi speed turret rotating moments, when driving on 2m jump etc.
Also, that would bring blast door mechanic on game, keeping it open boosts your reload, but in cost of survivability.

That’s already been introduced. It was as of a few updates ago, unless Gaijin called it a bug and got rid of it.

and how do you thing being bounced around inside a moving tank will effect a guy loading a 120mm round by hand?
so your source for not buffing them is you THINK it PROBABLY slows down while driving?
You think rookies right out of training are loading in 5 secs? That is one of the reasons the Russians use autoloaders, you don’t have to train them.

It’s called balance, or at least balance according to their statistics.
They have been using reloads to “balance” vehicle families or sub groups of vehicle families for a while now. (aka “we can’t be bothered to fix this tank, here have a reload buff”)

For the 2A5/2A6/PSO? sure, I can agree to a considerable degree.
For the Leo 2A7/Strv 122? Some of the most braindead easy tanks to play at top tier? no lmao.

You cannot keep it open if you want, but yes during reload it would be open and you would be killed by ammo rack.
Again, this was a little while back. I don’t know if they called it a bug and fixed it or what but it used to happen at least
