Russia is getting the Serbian Soko J-22 next update. Could this hint at a Yugoslavia or Serbia sub-tree in the future? It would make sense as Germany gets a Swiss sub-tree. Serbia operates the French Rafale, so can we see that in the USSR / Russia tree at some point.
The implementation of the Serbian J-22 doesn’t indicate a possibility of a Serbian-operated Rafale in hands of the Soviet Union tech tree. I have no doubt that would be a very negative implementation—1. that’s in-game nation representation is pointless with sub-tech tree additions of that form; 2. it blends the difference between West and East. So no, Russia/Soviet Union can’t and I hope it won’t have Rafale F3 in its line-up options, but given Gaijin been shooting Abrams left and right and China tech tree has one now in form of the ROC-operated M1A2 Abrams; there’s nothing bad if it can get worse.
We already sailed that bridge with China. And Britain gets an indian T-80 if I recall as a squadron vehicle. Might as well not care about that barrier anymore.
what’s the Aussies supposed to be then? Because they just haphazardly give their stuff to the US and Britain.
At this point, Gaijin broke their own rules like… thrice now when it came to perms, so I legit don’t care at this point if Abrams wind up in Russia’s premium tech tree and U.S. get modern T-80s because of that one video of a destroyed T-80 going in for eval.
I just want Gaijin to just stop caring at this point and just start stuffing random vehicles here and there.
I guess the cat is already out of the bag… nothing could possibly be more controversial than Taiwan being added under the Chinese tech tree (god forbid Japan gets a Thai VT-4 though) Fine, Rafale in Russian tech tree, whatever- Now I just want South Korean vehicles in the US tech tree.
You know what! It would’ve fit. Japan gets an Abrams to supplement and add more NATO styled tanks and help pad their tree. But the cough cough Chinese playerbase cough cough. Wouldn’t like it.
Funny how they get what they want when they throw a tantrum.
But at that point, yeah. Just give the U.S. all of SK’s vehicles.
Why? Both main land China and Taiwan claim to be the legitimate Gov. of ONE CHINA, the only controversy is Gaijin not giving the option for the Taiwanese flag on the China tree.
I don’t think it will, why would they implement a subtree for such a massive tree? Where could you even put this thing in? The Soviet tree is already quite saturated they don’t need any subtrees I argue.
They can actually get one that doesn’t require being captured, the Object 478BEM1.
Only Australian vehicle in the USA is the M1A1 AIM.
The main issue I have with the USSR getting a subtree is it’s size. Take a look at the Indian or Romanian vehicles for example, mostly copy paste outside of premiums or events.
Gaijin has not broken any rules.
Australia was announced to be going to Britain within the last year.
Not as a sub-tree, but as a general rule.
So now they are.
You’ll never get Gaijin to stop caring.
You’ll never get them to break their rules.
Of course they didn’t break their rules. They just rewrite. Silly goose. Like how they said no top-tier premiums. Then nothing in the prem tree being better than the normal tree.
Australia so far was only going where Gaijin seemed it’s most applicable, same wording and often said alongsixe Canada. So they were officially split until now.
That said, this just puts confirmed split nations back at the same level as unconfirmed split nations, meaning they can all eventually get a fixed home like Australia got now. I’d say that’s a good thing.
