I was researching the B-29 without paying attention to RP. I knew I was very close but after each Air RB Battle I was waiting to see the “ok” button but no, it was “To battle”, “To battle”, “To battle”. I just unlocked it now and starting thinking back and realised things are not adding up. I’m playing the Iranian F-14 with a talisman and I’m absolutely cleaning up each match. I started research on the F3D-1 after unlocking the B-29 and these screenshot are the results of my first match while researching the F3D-1.
Nevermind im dumb. Research bonus extends to 1 Rank above and below.
The IRIAF F-14 is NOT a premium, you can’t use it to research a 7.0.

You get a penalty when researching a vehicle that is over 1 rank higher or lower.
