Could someone explain what is the difference between Rooikat 105 and Rooikat MTTD, because MTTD has got DM33 and now sits in 9.3 but 105 is raised to 9.7?
I thought that they are copy paste but i might be wrong.
The difference between the Rooikat 105 and the Rooikat MTTD is in the turret, the 105 has the same turret as the Rooikat Mk.1D but with a 105 gun while the MTTD has one less crew member in the turret and an autoloader (the crew members are lower too I believe)

The difference is the Rooikat 105 gets smoke grenades and the MTTD doesn’t, making the MTTD harder to use.

All the answers you are getting are BS. There is no reason for it. Both are trade offs not worth of a BR change.
Same Round, Same mobility, same firepower. If the argument is that it as one less crew so worse survivability, well its ammo is not stored all over so they equal out.
If we are demanding that tanks with equal capabilities need to be brought up in BR because they have smoke… we are going to need to change a ton of BRs.

Technically the best reload of the 105 matches the MTTD. The MTTD has one less crew. It also has a much bigger ammo rack to hit in the turret. Also maaayybe a bit taller? A bit of a stretch but that is the best case I can make for it.
The 105 has a MG in the turret and the MTTD doesn’t. That’s really the only difference…
Man I really don’t want them to moved the MTTD up, because now my favorite 9.0 has only one vehicle which is Chieftain MK10, way to turn it into a foreveralone bro that’s not nice

It’s BS that they moved it up to 9.7, I find it a terrible grinder tbh since it’s unplayable on half the maps…well more than half the maps actually. In urban maps it feels like a turd on wheels and it doesn’t even have the advantage of good thermals like the vrcc, wish I got the challanger ds instead.
