dont forget to tie longer maximum match times to the bigger maps too and that package of ideas could actually blow some fresh air into ground RB, a gamemode that essentially hasnt changed much since at least 2016.
People placing ammo boxes in front of your sight… Yeah this is a terrible idea.
Not only do the maps not support these features, but neither do the game modes, since they are centered around team death match style gameplay (too short and fast-paced where these mechanics will be mostly overlooked). I can’t even recall the last time I ran out of ammo in a match.
And yeah I’m behind what you said, bigger maps and dynamic respawn zones tied to cap zones would solve so many problems with GRB, but I think we can all agree that these mechanics would be better off in a new more tactical game mode with GRB features.
Useless mechanic that will be dead of arrival. Wasted development time.
It does not fit game mode we have at all. It would fit something more grand like ground EC. Not deathmatch in a cage we have for 10 years.

Personally I think all of these are a waste of time and there’s much more important things that could be done to fix, balance, and make the game more interesting.
Lol, adding ammunition boxes for the AA awill kill the planes in the TRB even more and will not bring anything useful
At first I thought all forms of change are good if properly tested and implemented, but days later I changed my mind. There is a lot to do before adding new things, so I completely agree with you:
- What’s with helicopter grinding? There is no way to reach top tier in a non-mentally-damaging way right now.
- Helicopters hit invisible objects when capturing points on Ground battles.
- Drone Scouts tend to have issues with the controls when hovering on Simulator mode.
- Autopilot for planes on bombing sight is horrible, and it is pretty much needed for top tier when trying to use Paveway bombs.
- I’ve faced some minor bugs like not being able to shoot when you swap the ammunition type because you run out of a certain type, someone destroys your cannon and then you repair it. The game simply does nothing when you shoot (that was on a Russian BTR).
- We could go on and on forever, with minor but annoying bugs and many other “not so minor bugs”.
- Oh boy don’t even get me started with everything that is wrong with simulator modes as well.
I would love to have a more strategic game mode - is there even a chance to see something like enduring confrontations come back for GRB?

I think this would only be beneficial if the maps were significantly larger than they are now. If implemented with the current map sizes, it will not succeed.

Es muss punkte für das aufklären von Gegnern mit der Drohne geben. Also wie beim scouten.
Ausserdem könnte jeder eine Nachricht absenden. Brauche Munition. Bzw kann das beim vorletzten Schuss auch automatisch den lights angezeigt werden welcher Mate Munition braucht. Sodass diese Munition bringen können.

Considering how popular and actively used the entrenching function is… I would dare to say this is a waste of time. Not because it is a bad idea in principle but because with the tiny and badly designed maps and cheap game modes that are currently in the game the proposed functions seem rather useless.
This game needs a serious game mode overhaul. I can´t be the only one that is done with barrel fencing in some overcrowded city back alley with a tank. Half the maps are the same copy paste city map, where would an entrenching function be of use there? Especially when the one freshly “bought into the game guy” decides to plant himself in front of your entrenchment position blocking your view, constantly revving his engine, while the three level 15 players at 10.3 come rushing around the corner somehow all three exactly knowing where you are all of which you can´t hear because the game for some reason can´t reliably render in more than 3 sound sources at the same time.
