M13/40 I and III have different variants of 47/32 cannons, hence why very different RoF. Later variants are even more different M14/41, M15/42.
The Italian tech tree is tough to grind, but I wouldn’t remove its vehicles… at most, you could lower their BR
- The entire M13 series must be lowered by at lea* st -0.3 BR; at the moment, they’re over-BR
- The P40 is a mediocre tank; it struggles greatly against the T-34 and the Russian KV at its current BR.
In this game, Gaijin punishes skilled players by increasing the BR of vehicles that shouldn’t have their BR raised, and rewards unskilled players by lowering the BR of vehicles that are actually strong.
I even find out that the Italian M18 have lower penetrstion because it use Italian ammo :)
I think you’r right, and it’s a non-sense making the m13/40 “II” and “III” 0.3br higher than the “I” variant
I really beg to differ. It might not have the most pen, sure, but it is still serviceable, and if it pens, well, it has more explosive filler then an IS-2 has.
Also the armour isn’t half bad for the BR either.
This is an example of Gaijin’s balancing: both are classified medium tanks… But the British one behaves like a heavy tank because, in reality, it is classified as an ‘infantry tank’ under the British system and fulfils more or less the same role as a heavy tank… The funny thing is that British players want the Valentine to have a lower BR (BR 2.3) rather than 2.7… Meanwhile, Italy has the M13 series, which has been given a higher BR because Italian players have learnt to aim or to flank.
