I believe the Italian line is full of TOO MANY garbage tanks and clones of clones, and I propose a complete rework of the Italian line.
Remove the M13 subseries. Why keep leveling the same tank with zero differences?
Remove the Shermans. After the P40, the Sherman clone line begins. As an Italian player, playing Shermans after the P40 is pure hell. Let them add the P.43 and P.43 bis.

There are only two M13 medium tanks available to research those being: M13/40 Series I and M13/40 Series III, while M13/40 Series II is a premium vehicle, part of the italian starter pack.
There are three M4 Shermans, three of the best or between the best in-game, M4 Sherman Vc taking advantage of more penetration values with the APDS projectile, unique to this vehicle compared to any other in-game.
If we are willing to remove vehicles because they bring no difference to the game, which in some way I agree, Re. 2000, C. 202 and C. 205 series should also be part of this listing of unpleasing vehicles.
They have quite significant differences, which also influence their BR, not sure what you are talking about.
P43s would be cool, but because prototypes weren’t built, there is no way we could get them in the game with a current Gaijin’s policy.
i really dont think you having a problem with 6% of italy’s tanks warrants a rework
especially when those tanks are all like rank 1-3 so are less than 6% of your time played in italy, assuming you play every italian tank
italys actually kinda strong but only at top rank as SAMP-T has fastest missiles other than maybe new pantsir the EFT is a TOP 5 plane and they have the 2A7HU which is the best MBT
there definitely above Britain at high tier and are on par with france
only at top rank? id argue at like 6.7 and up theyre quite strong and even below that they have some very good tanks

at 7.7, you get m47/105, firos 6, pzh2000hu, and btr-80a
at 8.0, you get of-40, r3 t106, leopard 1a2, and zsu23-4
at 9.3, you get vcc80/60, centauro 105p, t72a, leopard 1a5, and of-40 mtca
at 9.7, you get centauro 105R, sidam 25 mistral, vbc pt2, and vrcc (plus whole 9.3 lineup)
at 10.0 you get the 9.7 lineup plus dardo and vcc80/30
at 10.7 you get ariete P, leopard 2a4, 2x freccias, osa akm, and strela
all are quite good to very strong vehicles
9.3/9.7 and 10.7 are very worth playing if you havent
How about some modern crew for the open top or exposed crewman on tanks such as the Leopard 40/70? Bit odd to be using it and seeing Mario and Luigi wearing their 1930’s leather trench coat and leather cap.

Well I dont think Italy is the most copy-and-paste country, if we think about that we have to remove all the sherman variant from all the other tree. there are country that are really much more copy and paste like China and Israel
Literaly ERA1 AND ERA 2 of China are all copy and pastewitout counting 1 AA and 1 Antitank
Most if not all Shermans in Italy are unique Shermans.
Italy is probably over 90% unique vehicles.

German Leopards should be removed as well. Except the Leopard 1 versions they really operated. Its not necessary to get all those Hungarian Leopard II versions, since Italy has its own modern MBT line.
Its just watering down the uniqueness of different tech trees. There are already too many nations which got Leopard II’s copied in. Also applies for the Shermans and the M18. Italy has its own funcars and tanks, its just too much foreign c&p.
if we remove all the “copy” or similar tank in all the other nations, there will be a huge gap, and for not talking about all the t34 copy in the URSS tree wich have small difference between them, or the pz.IV, or the M4 in the us
The only copy-paste Leopard Italy has is the 2A4, and it can’t water down uniqueness because it’s the only tech tree you can bring a Leopard 2A4 with an Ariete.
2A7HU is unique + unique lineup.
M18 is the only copy-paste you mentioned, and even that is part of a unique lineup.
It’s not as if ground doesn’t have multiple spawns…
