Rewards for Crashed Aircraft!

Sim rewards doesn’t encourage farming like that. Max rewards are time restricted and rewards are diminishing with shorter lifespans of the players.

have you ever touched sim before ?

no enemy will be 3km close, its only for enemies no teamkilling

A solution to the giving of rewards to players who contributed nothing, such as somebody third partying a dog fight could be to give the rewards to whomever had the smallest average distance from the target over the last 20-30 seconds, thus crediting the dogfighter and not the person who happened to be closest.

still better than nothing

Does this mean if the target aircraft crashes before your missle hits it’ll give you credit?

On top of that, if you crash trying to multipath close to a missle does it go in as a kill with no crew lock, or does it go as a crash with cree lock still.

Its super frustrating hitting a tree while multipathing in the opening of a battle and getting a 6+ minute crew lock for it.

gaijin removed rewards for when the enemy J’s out within 3km (this mechanic is currently in ARB) from sim because some players abused it by hovering around airfields while their friend keeps spawning and j’ing out so they get rewards.
you’d know this if any of you played sim

good job!

But why not here? It’s one of the biggest issues in ASB.

You might not be aware, but ARH missiles from the Western Bloc trigger the target’s RWR at 20km.

Which would only happen if the first player hadn’t scored any hits yet
And the teamate was actually closer to the enemy instead.

So like 1/1000 chance.

they can easily fix the issue by not gaining the kills if you are on ground, this mechanic would do more good than bad on SIM

This sounds like a really positive change! I would make a few adjustments though, especially for different ranks (or going by BRs I guess would work). As aircraft speeds get higher, the distances will increase. When missiles are introduced into that… they get excessive:

Rank I-II within 750m
Rank III-IV within 1km
Rank V within 1.5km
Rank VI within 2km
Rank VII+ within 3km

I would also add a requirement to have previously been within a minimum distance of the enemy player within the past 60s, to avoid random crashes being rewarded:
Rank I-II within 400m in the past 60s
Rank III-IV within 600m in the past 60s
Rank V within 750m in the past 60s
Rank VI within 1km OR missile within 200m in the past 60s
Rank VII+ within 1.5km OR missile within 200m in the past 60s

And finally, maybe scale the rewards with proximity so a manouvre kill right on the edge of what counts rewards less than one where you’re very close (eg within 400m when the enemy player crashes).

The distances I have suggested are illustrative of the idea. They could be fine tuned with play testing.
It might need to work differently in ground RB since players are concentrated in a small area

Please do the same with ground. Sometimes people J out before the bombs explode denying the kill.

For jets, 3 kilometers is too close.10 kilometers is more reasonable. It is hoped that the can come up with reasonable measures: For instance, as long as there is a missile shining on the target, the nearest missile will be rewarded, except for ET, the range of most infrared missiles at high altitudes can reach about 5 to 7 kilometers, at most giving a determination range of 10km because the distance that can be locked in the tail pursuit is approximately that far. If player an active missile hits the ground due to operational error and crashes into a tree, I think it should be rewarded, just as I said, based on the missile that is closest to the target being illuminated

alright, call it
