Revising the Rate of Fire of the T-64, T-80, Т-72, ZTZ96, ZTZ99 Series and VT4, VT4A1 Tanks

Pretty sure the commander can override the gunner btw

curious))

No I don’t, and I think its stupid to say any nations equipment are bad just because of biased narratives that push them.

The ingame Churchill is not that bad. You can angle it and the rather low gun damage is compensated with fast reload rate. There was a time where I always spammed the KV1b/Churchill III pair, as both were at 4.0. Remember ludicrous matches. You can angle both tanks pretty well for massive protection values.

Also Wehrmacht was quite convinced. They officially adopted Beute Churchills, with own supply code into tank units. So not just ragtag use by some soldiers, quite officially.
churchill-04

Which is fine, so long as everyone else gets the same maximum performance reloads. For the Challenger, that would mean giving the full ready rack, as that is a) correct, and b) gives it the fastest rate of fire possible.

What’s not great is when we get Double Standard Snail being… I dunno.

It was brilliant in real life ? was great for the infantry. It fulfilled it’s roll perfectly and kept it’s crews alive? sure it wasn’t the fastest tank but it certainly filled the roll it was supposed to.

To the point the germans actually swiped and used them.

That statement alone shows you know nothing about british tanks.

Again in real life both of these were stop gaps between cromwell and the comet. Never intended to be used fully in service hell the avenger literally never went into official service. 200 odds were made and then effectively binned.
because we had centurion at that point, the tank which literally changed tank warfare

Cromwell in real life, fit the cruiser roll, it was praised by it’s crews for it’s amazing speeds (up to 40MPH) it’s reliability as well as it’s protection levels compared to older cruisers.
Was a fantastic tank for during the war especially considering it did again it’s roll fantastically.

Valentines, were great? their armour in the first stages of the war allowed them to keep chugging along, again as infantry support vehicles, tehy are actually the most produced WW2 tank for britain? xD we made 7 thousand odds I thik it was. Great little machine for what it was supposed to do.

The achiles was fantastic? it was literally an upgunned M10 wolverine which was smashing german heavies and such with the 76MM? teh achiles had the great 17pndr in it which could blow panthers away lol.
In what regard was the Achiles a bad vehicle?
it was also a stop gap waiting for the Sherman Firefly BTW

Crusaders were light cruiser tanks are the only objectively bad tanks on your list mate, they had piss armour, poor engines and a 2pndr gun which for the african campaign was not enough then were replaced by US tanks on lend lies.

Vickers Mk1 ? As in the light MBT designed for export which india helped design , over 2 thousand were made which for MBTs is pretty impressive.
Especially considering it was designed to be a cheaper cost MBT specifically for export.
Vickers is also still in service in a few countries to this day,
AS well as the Vickers MK3 which was great.
vickers MK7 was phenomenal for it’s time and on the trials it took part in blew away the competition.

Centurion changed modern tank combat as we know it.

Cheiftain the same changed the NATO doctrine and it’s L11 cannon eventually led to almost every nato nation upgunning to 120MM.

Challanger which the armour for it again changed doctrine for nations, including but not limited to the USA who use their own version of dorchester in the damn abrams even to this day?

So Again I ask you, what do you mean Britain makes crap tanks?.
CR2 is still one of the most protected MBTs in the world and it’s from the fkin 90s mate.

I don’t think it counts as double standard when they openly admit that they choose any reload from possible values for balance.

Most of our service tanks have been pretty reasonable, standfast Ajax, have been reasonable, certainly post WW2.

Not that it matters really.

Except this particular change has been framed as a realism thing.

British tanks may not have been perfect, but the 5000+ lend lease of Churchills, Matildas, Valentines etc… sent to the Soviet Union by Britain in WW2 were certainly welcomed by them and helped save the Soviet Union from collapse.

Man not even the availability % of the Chieftain agrees (just over 30% at its worst), and that says a lot, considering that the Multi-fuel L60 was probably the one thing that let the Chieftain down (and had NATO not insisted on it and then reneged, we would’ve probably opted for something else) - the gun, the armour, the tech (first LRF fitted to a tank by the way!)

As for the Challenger 1… what.

Well they need to frame it such way because autoloader’s reload are balanced only around source-based values according to their standards. Therefore, they needed to prove that this reload was technically possible in order to use it.

I’m not talking about in game.

In game, most tanks are quite good

They all perform worse in-game than they do IRL

I was talking about the Achilles you have to drive backwards towards the enemy.

Most of them are bad merely because of mobility, at least for the Churchill it has armor, but no matter the model, its mobility rarely changed.

Also, the Germans stole everyone’s tanks lol. They were losing.

P-63s were considered crap by Americans, but we’re also sent to the USSR, and proved to be actually good planes (granted the Soviets did swap out the engines, or turbo them)

How so? They seem to be quite good In game.

Good in game =/= full IRL performance.

Like how the Challenger 1s are solid tanks, but still should have 20 round ready racks not 4. Gen 2 Thermals (or at least Gen 1.5+) , a lot of more minor modeling issues etc etc. the DS is missing addon armour it received for Op Granby too I believe.

If you want to go down that road, why can’t I swap the belt in my 30mm on my T-72M2? It’s a stock bmp 2 belt of AP, HE, AP, HE….

I’d like APDS, but hey you know what, the game isn’t 1:1 with real life.

Ngl im still sad the Fv4030 the shir 2 is 10.0 now :(

Because its not customisable on any tank I think if its a secondary weapon . So maybe submit a suggestion or bug report for it such as:
