Revert the NVD Policy Published in Update 2.35.1.62

The current policy is optional night battles, but only from BR 10.0 and up.

If the players have an opt-out, why not allow night battles at lower BRs?

XM800T missing night vision device (NVD)

Reminder that this poor policy decision is still in place.

They do give them if they had it they just have anything above 10.0 in br has them by default and they don’t show up as modifications AFAIK

Only vehicles of 10.0 have NVD by default due to this policy, with their TVD being an unlockable modification.

Vehicles of 9.7 and below now have no NVD even if they had them in real life (except vehicles in the game prior to 2.35.1.62).

becasue they are usless for battles below 10.0 (they should lower night battles Br to 7.7 TBH), but they aren’t going to revive NVD from vehicles that already have them

I still don’t understand why can they not just make it, so that night battles can be encountered by 7.0 IF atleast 1 vehicle in the line-up has night vision. I get some lower tier vehicles can also have night vision, but it’s around 7.0 when vehicles start getting night vision devices regularly, so the minimum BR should also get lowered accordingly, especially now that night vision devices are not only default, but more encouraged due to the removal of that annoying flare.

Absolutely disagree. Flares made NVDs extra situational and frustrating to use, because they constantly blinded you if you stayed in NVD mode, but they also didn’t light up the entire map, so you had tons of blind spots still. Night battles should stay dark, not just day battles, but with 75% less visibility. Either bring atleast 1 vehicle with NVD or don’t play night battles. I’d argue even just having an option to turn on headlights incase you’re out of tanks that have NVDs would be a better fix (so that you can atleast CQC).
